mommy2777 Not sure what I am going to do yet to lose weight. I might join Weight watchers or some other plan. I have thought about just modifying my diet and doing portion control but if I don't have someone to hold me accountable I won't stick to it. I need the motivation and the rest of my family could lose some weight too. Will be glad for the support.

Hello fellow cruiser, i am trying to get on the roll call but its not letting me me post PMs. But if its ok with you i can tell you right here my info.....

We are from Vero Beach, FL and our names are:

Welcome Aboard!

That we will be changing over to this cruise on Monday.

We are right now booked on the 4 day for OCT 5, but my family and I just did the Halloween Cruise and my kids LOVED LOVED LOVED it.

PLUS we didnt get to CASTAWAY CAY and we think with 2 chances we are sure to get at least 1 time in!

And the biggest reason is We are STALKING DREAMCRUISER100!:rotfl:

Anyone else wishing this year would hurry up and blast by? I am so ready!

My kids won't stop talking about it either!

Check out Statroom reviews on here..Yours sounds Great!
We are nearby in 7539-only Cat 11 but don't mind as long as we're there!!(Hoping the Upgrade fairy may help us out before we sail!!)LOL!!:wizard:

Thanks! I'll check it out!

The upgrade fairy was very good to us in March for our first cruise, I hope she sprinkles pixie dust your way too!

We are up to 99.9% sure that we will change our booking, we have to lastly make sure there are no CHEER compititons scheduled for this time frame which i am sure they have not scheduled this far in advance so.............i think we will be in the clear.

We will be in a category 11 also.........An up grade would be REALLY nice but on the HALLOWEEN CRUISE this year. THEY had a sign up at the desk saying NO LONGER doing upgrades as the ship was at FULL capacity. This must be a popular time to cruise.

COSTUMES..........we did MNSSHP before we went on the cruise and dressed up for that and took Pirate costumes, but did not take anything special for the actual Halloween party on board, although i ended up dressing up like a man.
We are trying to come up with something great already AS there were some REALLY AWESOME COSTUMES on board!!!!!!

We are not real costume people. Maybe we will bring work clothes and go as a nurse and a Best Buy Sales Associate. :)

My DH isnt a costume person either........BUT goes with the flow....

We've been looking at halloween costumes for our trip next year but can anyone tell me....

How scarey are the costumes?
How many people actually dress up?
Do they dress up for Pirate night also?

My DH is looking at something a bit TOO scarey in my opinion, hence the question!!:scared1:
When we sailed The Wonder very few bothered on Pirate night so we're not sure what to do!
Probably be easier to just carry Halloween costumes I think?

BTW..Great time to but halloween costumes as they're on sale!!:thumbsup2

We sailed on the Magic just a few weeks ago for Halloween, I would say a little less then half dressed for pirate night as in a FULL costume but almost everyone had atleast a bandana, eyepatch, etc.. They give you a bandana to wear at dinner and you could pick up some pirate type accessories or a POC t shirt, etc. Halloween it seemed most dressed up but I did not see ANYONE that was dressed scary, unless you consider the pirate with the Octopus type face scary I did see someone with a mask on like that. Some seemed to go ALL OUT and the costumes were amazing. I chose not to dress up for Hallowen but DD and DH did and they had alot of fun.

Thanks for that..So when dressing up for Halloween, what kinda thing was worn?
Here in UK Halloween isnt such a big thing so we want to get it right!!LOl!

I was just on the Halloween Cruise also...........
Hi PAM:wave2:
And there were all kinds of costumes............

Fred Flinstone
Race car drivers
Witches
Mary Poppins
2 were dressed up like ghost from Haunted Mansion they were AWESOME!
ballerinas
Clowns
wizard of OZ characters
Cheer leaders
Pirates
characters from SCOOBY DOO
A whole family (like 8 kids) were Dalmations and one of them was Cruella

so many more

I wish i could think of something great but as of yet i have not BUT I WILL have something GREAT this time around!

This year i was unprepared for my desire to dress up after the fact..............so i dressed up as a man and used my DS suit from Formal Night and drew a beard and Mustache!

Hhhmmm now I need to think of costumes too!

No, not topiary bison

something new, different, FABulous!

i know the costume thinking is crazy............

I want something AWESOME ...........
SOMETHING unforgetable................

SOMETHING people will look at and be like............
"AHHHHHHHHH, WOOOOOOW, COOOOOOL!"

On another note i CALLED DVC tonight to change my booking.......and the lady kept me on hold too long and then said i woudl have to call back tomorrow they were closed now.............
