Been trying to find out if Costa Maya has been hit by Hurricane Dean?

From the look of the path Dean went right over the top of Costa Maya like a big'ol lawnmower.
Rylisal and both Michelles,.....
Wendy complained about everything and she just wanted to go home. She made up her mind and stopped. I know she could have gone on but she didn't want to so she used a whole bunch of excuses to ease her mind.

Will is getting off easy the way he's being shown. Any little bug, bump in the night, or anything that he hasn't seen in the city scared him and he cried. For the most part he acted like a baby.

Anthony played the game the way production wanted someone too. He said every word and then they would ask him to say it again, and he would only a little nastier. As he is watching the show he wishes that he wouldn't have said some of the things he did. trust me he's not happy with himself right now......

U-Tink - Thanks for the support. I can't wait to meet you too and everyone else.
NewfieMom - If you want to see the first 3 episodes you can see them on ABC.com. Look for the ful episodes link.

I missed the first episode of "Fat March" but have caught most of the next two.

I am not that much of a reality fan but its pretty good. I hope it was good fun. I am going to try to watch the rest of the season.

If you want to see some photos from fat march You can go to my myspace page. www.myspace.com/2andout

Cool photo's...
I had a feeling that Anthony was being portrayed a little differently then he actually is.
Everyone,
Costa maya is really hard to find info on. The news keeps showing Cozumel and saying that everything to the south is so undeveloped that the storm amazingly did not do much damage, but they never phyically have shown costa maya. I hope and pray for all that live there.

From cruisecritic.com:

"(9:20 a.m.) -- More than a day after Category Five Hurricane Dean smashed into the Yucatan Peninsula, the eye making landfall near Costa Maya, news is beginning to surface about the fate of one of Mexico's most popular cruise stops. Preliminary reports indicate that the dock will be out of commission for the next six to eight months as more than 50 percent of the pier is believed to be gone. Vessels scheduled to head to Costa Maya and Belize, just over the border, had already been re-routed days ago, but it remains to be seen when they will be returning. The outcome does not look promising."

They have a discussion thread for Costa Maya that has more info about the local shops and some pictures.

Thanks for the info.

Hi everyone,
Just had to share with you...we're all celebrating today as our eldest DD Rachel just heard that she passed all 12 of her GCSE exams (final year of school in UK) with flying colours...8 B's & 4 A's. What a star!!!
TotallyAngellic...did your DD's take theirs this year or will it be next year??

On a more sombre note, I saw a news report last night from Mahajual in Costa Maya. The devastation is terrible. Feel so sorry for all the residents...they have virtually nothing left!!

Congrats to your daughter!!!!
It Makes me sad that it seems Costa Maya has really been forgotten about. I know that not many lived there but the ones that did were already poor. It is a really sad to see the devastation. I was looking at pictures from our cruise last year and I can not believe it is all gone.

We visited Costa Maya last year. This is very sad news, indeed, as many families had
very little to begin with.

Feeling very sad about costa Maya, I'd been researching what to do there only last week & now its gone......Will probably take a year to re build the port area alone, it really is tragic.
Seems closer to me because we were going there..most people i know hadn't even heard of it, Its a funny old world isnt it!

Excellent results Helen - Well done Rachel !!!! Taryn has done well too - she has passed all 11 exams 2 x A, 5 x B and 4 x C. She is now going into 6th form to study English, Art, Media and one other A'level. She was particularly pleased with her Cs in Maths and Science as these are her weak subjects, and she was predicted D grades. My step daughter Louise isn't really academic, but she works really hard, and she also did well, passing 12 GCSEs in total but with lower grades. We are so proud of them both.

dizney-cruiser,

I have great news. We have added more members to our cast.:cool1:

My brother in law Thomas and his fiancee April (will be married in May of 2008) and they have decided to delay their honeymoon and have a DisneyMoon pixiedust: with us on the cruise. They are from Kentucky as well.

I also wanted you to add the name of my db and dsil. I somehow forgot to do that. They are Mark and Donna.

So now I have a party of 8 altogether :yay:

Disney should so pay us for all the referrals we get for them

later, Karen

Many congratulations to both girls!! All we can ever ask is that they work hard & do their best & it sounds as though they've all certainly done that :thumbsup2 . Rachel is now going on to college to study English, Art, Psychology & Sociology 'A' levels. If Taryn is interested, as she is also into Art, she can see some of Rachel's work on the wesite www.x-tragicromance-x.deviantart.com

WE watched Fat March again and I have to say Michael you rock!!How many weeks are left? I was glad to see Will go. I am hoping the rest of you make it. We were worried that Matt's knee wont hold up. I was so impressed with the weight loss and when they weigh you guys and show the before and now pictures WOW!!!!

You can see the dramatic weight loss so much in their faces when they showed the before and after pics. Great job to you all!!!

hey michael!!

congrats on winning the las vegas trip!!

i have a question for you (if you are allowed to answer) - do you have to tell the "producers" (or someone) how you are voting before the reveal? i find it a bit hard to believe that they picked all the people voting "nobody" over the "will" votes - just doing it randomly

i watched the show with my sister (the one cruising with us) and at first i was surprised that you guys voted anyone off - but her train of thought was "will gave up on himself by quitting! if he at least kept moving, regardless of how slowly , at least he would have tried" - after hearing that - i agreed with you guys - he quit and he should go!

i just wish they were doing it "biggest loser" style where when one person gets voted off you get to see how they look now :)

can't wait to meet you in person!!

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy labor day weekend!!! Anyone doing anything fun? We are supose to go over to Disney but Angelina (dd) seems to be getting a cold:sad2: hopefully she feels better later. Have a great weekend.
