I think my DD Rachel may get on well with Taryn (lovely name!). She too is looking to apply for a job at Epcot under their 'International Program' as soon as she completes her A levels. We spoke to one of the english girls working there last August & she suggested applying about a year or so in advance as it took her about 18 months from application to actually starting work!! I'm all for it.....just one more excuse to fly out again

That is exactly what Taryn has been looking into - the International programme at Epcot. Although she would ideally like a job as a dancer in the parades / shows. I really wish I had worked in Disney when I left school!

First Hello Suziemva, Im glad to see several of the 4/29ers aboard the Halloween cruise. To answer your question? There is a private website for Halloween on the high seas that I have set up. Somehow when a logo was copied, it was link to the site and not a photobucket. It has been fixed. We have decided to go on a 4day wonder mousefest cruise and spend a few days WDW, so I have been busy bouncing back and forth. PM me if you your interested in the website.

Is everyone planning on taking both pirate costumes and halloween costumes on this cruise. I think I will be paying excess baggage, with all of this, plus formal wear etc!

We went over our baggage limit on the last cruise, even without costumes. My hubby is a Scot and wore his kilt for formal night. Man, those things are heeeaaavy! I guess they gotta be, so they don't whip up in the wind. After all, this is a family cruise!

So, the Pirate decided he needed a cave. I went off for a weekend retreat, and came back to the Man Cave. That's Capital M Man, Capital C Cave, for the uninitiated. And a manly Man Cave it is! He's got all his toys, the big tv, the surround sound, 10 speakers, including 2 funny ones that hang in the ceiling, and 2, count em' TWO couches even tho it's just the 2 of us. So Suzie, you and Ed gotta come out. Now the Pirate is campaigning for a new fridge. He already has a fridge, of course, and even a freestanding freezer so he is never more than 3 steps away from the call of the ice cream, but now he wants a separate keg fridge to hold those little pony kegs of Heineken. A man and his cave, it's a beautiful thing.

LOL! Sue, Ed would LOVE to have a Man Cave! Poor guy, surrounded by females! Hey, football season is just around the corner...could be some mean football watching in the Man Cave....but are girls allowed, too??? Gotta watch my Nittany Lions! I think I yell louder during the games than Ed! Always wanted to be a cheerleader....just could never get that splits thing down...

Packing...gosh! I thought I had more time before I started stressing about that!!! I WAYYYYY overpacked last time so this time, half of what I originally pack will get taken out! ALTHOUGH some of my clothes went missing from last night corridor bags to check in the next day at the Wilderness Lodge! Yes, my fav maternity white eyelet top and some others went missing...so I kinda learned not to take my fav clothes!

Costumes...pirate night wear for the kiddie pies (we stick in the mud adults don't dress up) and maybe a princess dress or two will be in our bags. I MIGHT be able to dreg up my Royal Stewart Plaid for formal night (just for Jon!!!)....hopefully we'll be on the same side, Sue! Tux for Ed will be in the "Special Bag"....gosh, I think that's it other than the norm stuff....OH YEAH! And my Duct Tape! (Hey,. where's Julie???) LOL!!! old joke.....

So, are other adults dressing up for Pirate night and Halloween? I remember a fair amount dressed up for Pirate night but it's just not me.....fun to see though!!!

I think these guys were my favs! (table near us at dinner)

Okay, I need to be filled in! We had a lovely storm tonight (we sooo need the rain!) that knocked out our satellite so I only got part of Fat March taped! And something before must have run over because I missed the voting! I only got to see when they got into NY and saw the billboard to just after they weighed in....after that was commercial and no more taped! ARRRGGGHHHH!!! (where's that little head bangin' smiley when you need it.......)

Sorry Bigben, I have actually not been watching! We've had company for the last few weeks (my best friend and her kids from Ontario, and my in-laws from Alberta), so it's been kinda nuts here. And last night totally crashed early. Have to remember to watch it next week!

As for dressing up, DH is game for a pirate costume - last time it was only a pirate shirt we bought at St. Marten. Have already been looking (for next Halloween!) - some of the stores here have their Halloween gear out already. Not sure if taking two costumes each or not - I am also a terrible overpacker, and if we can manage it we want to do a few days at WDW as well, so that can mean a lot of luggage. Really have to watch weight limits when you are flying - especially for on the way home - last time took DH's hockey bag at the bottom of a suitcase, and it was full coming back!

Have also been trying to find info on Costa Maya - not able to find much. Hope they made out alright.
