Hello All!

I have been maintaing the Roll Call list on page one post #6. I am now joining forces with ulittletinker so we can continue to update the list here as well as on our site. So . . .

All, please check the current list and pm me if you
1. are not listed
2. want to change anything

We would also like to update the list to include stateroom numbers. This could be helpful if we "decide" to organize our own little trick-or-treat exchange. When/If you want to PM me that information, please comment if you are ok with it being posted here (I see many of you have already posted your stateroom numbers), or if you would prefer to only have it listed on "our site" which is private and only members of our group can get to.

On my last cruise we did a goody bag exchange and something such as this might work best for the "trick-or-treaters". You got our list pm'd to you about a week (or two) before setting sail of who was participating and how many "children" (not all were children) were participating. You then left your goody bags hanging off the fish that are outside each stateroom.

Alright, Sue! Stop emailing me! Yes, we're going!!!

You can officially stop the nagging...we're signing up with Barb (as soon as I get ahold of her!). And I see that Virginia is on this cruise too! WHOOHOO!!! It's a reunion!!!

Anywho, we've got some phone calls to make, some pirate gear to buy, some weight to lose....and a nanny to hire! Ameera will be 2 when the cruise happens, and I refuse to be chasing her all the time on the ship....I can do that at home! LOL!!!

Ahoy there ship mates.....I can now introduce my fine and upstanding British crew as we are definitely booked on this Halloween cruise in 2008!

There are 6 of us:

me (you don't say) Sarah, a tiny fraction over 40, who loves Disney and Pirates of the Caribbean (especially Captain Jack!). I used to work on Princess Cruises in a previous life so it will be nice to be on the other side!

DH - Tony, a slightly larger fraction over 40, who also loves Disney and Pirates of the Caribbean (though probably not so fond of Capt Jack!). Tony is ex British Navy and loves anything to do with ships and sailing.

DS1 - Stephen, will be 19, we thought he might have declined this trip as he will be off to Uni but has decided to take a gap year and so long as we are paying he will be in there!

DD1 - Louise, will be 17, loves dressing up so will definitely wear a halloween costume.

DD2 - Taryn, will also be 17, again loves dressing up and doing anything theatrical.

DS2 - Daniel, my youngest, will be 14 and is mostly into movies, You Tube and Nintendo.

As you can see from my signature we have been to WDW a few times and to DLP a lot more. This will be our first Disney cruise and I can't explain how excited and thrilled I am. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and hope I don't bore you all too much in the forthcoming months.

My DH Andy is also ex RN & is just a fraction over 50
We have 2 teenage daughters & the eldest, Rachel (17 atoc), is now delighted that there will definately be someone else her age onboard.
Don't worry at all about boring us...we are happy to talk Disney any time, any place, anywhere!!!!!!!!! This is also our first cruise & we are having trouble containing our excitment.....just 14 months & 2 weeks to go

Hey guys,

Just had a quick look at our roll call, and realized that we are the only Canadians on the list so far! Also did a quick count, and our numbers are approximately 143 at the moment. Didn't participate in the DIS meet with our last cruise, so have no idea if that's high or not, but it seems like we're off to a good start!

The idea of a party sounds great. And glad to see that there are some great planners in our group. Virginia, I couldn't open the link on the website for the fish extenders, but did read about them on the boards so have a general idea what they are all about. But how would the goody bag exchange work?

What I do know about Fish extender gift giving is that there are about 10-15 people per group, of course there is no limit to the size of the group. In each group a leader keep a secret list of what each person within that group is bringing to make sure there is no duplicate items, Then each day you deliver the gift to the individuels within the group.

Hello soon to be fellow cruisers! Greetings from Northern Virginia!

We can't wait until this cruise and to see all our friends again! PAHW, Ruby'smom (where are you???!!!), Ulittletinker, Castlegazer (where are you??) and any other 4/29/06 vets that are going again! WHOOHOO!!!

Sorry about the quick post before. Sue's been emailing me about every other month to get us signed up for the cruise and we finally just bit the bullet and started the process again. Last cruise I was pg with DD#2 who will just have turned 2 by the time this cruise rolls around! So this one will be quite a bit different.

Allow me to introduce ourselves.....We are The Mattern's....me, Suzie, (30 trips to The World, 2 DCL cruises)Disney lover of all Disney things, DH - Ed (28 trips to the World, two DCL cruises) who puts up with all my Disney fascination, DD#1 - Tori who will be 6 on this cruise (20 times to The World, 2 DCL cruises) and DD#2 - Ameera, who will be 2 on the cruise (10 months now) (2 trips to The World, kinda 1 DCL cruise).

Can't wait to catch up on all the posts and get to meet everyone...

WHOOHOO!!! Hey, how are the Pirate and His Wench???? We've been meaning to get in touch....hope things are well.

We finally decided to commit....thanks for the urgings. Ed's excited about being there with all you guys! Don't know why we waited so long!

Talked with Trish. She's gonna get on the boards soon...she had an 18 mile race today, so I'll be checking in with her probably Monday....

Forgive me while I try to catch up on things here. I should have gotten on here sooner....is there gonna be a test???? (where's that darn headbanging smiley when you need it?!?!?!)

Hi, great news that there are some more Brits joining in the fun now!!
This will be our 2nd Disney Cruise, the first being the 3 night Wonder back in Feb for my 40th!!
I am now well & truly hooked!!
There's me(Sally) DH Chris(another just over 40yr old!) DS Ryan 14(atoc) & Liam 3(atoc)
Ryan is really looking forward to hanging out in The Loft this time with all the Teenagers, as last time being only 12 he ended up with the little kids!
I'm hoping Liam will go join in with the kids club to give us some 'adult' time by the pool but we'll have to see...He screamed the flounders nursery down last time so that was out!!LOL!!(was only 22 months though!)
Are your flights all booked now?
We fly out 19th Oct & do Orlando for 6 nights b4 cruise, then have 4 nights after cruise at St Petes & fly home 4th Nov!!CAN'T WAIT!!!

Your DS Ryan will be the same age as my DS Daniel. We haven't booked any flights yet. We will probably spend a few days before or after cruise either at WDW or the beach. Who are you flying with?
