Thanks, Jackie, for the BIG logo! My girls are getting so excited! They have decided on green shirts, and are completely intriqued by the idea of having new friends before we even get on board the ship.

Maybe we should arrange a Club Penguin or Webkins meet for them! Any other kids into this form of kiddie-addiction?

My first thoughts were PND from allergies. I'll keep an eye on her this week and see if a fever develops.

Got the a/c fixed and all is right with the house now. MUCH cooler! Got up to 80 on the upstairs level. Thank God for our underground basement!

Suzie - so glad to hear Tori is feeling better - it is horrible when your little ones are poorly - and even when your big ones are poorly! Here's some more for her to help her on the road to recovery!

I have never heard of that drug acetamenophin - if it's something good I will be raiding the pharmacy when I get to the USA. The only pain relievers we get here over the counter are paractemol, ibuprofen and codeine if you need something stronger. Obviously you can get stronger stuff on prescription. We can't get the drug "bonine" over here either - so a pre-cruise trip to the US pharmacy will definitely be called for - I just hope you don't need a prescription for this.

Val - Congratulations on being crowned "Queen of the Addicts" - a very well-deserved title for you!

Amy - the small marshmallows are tapered at one end - they look a bit like a flower pot! They probably just call them American marshmallows to make them more desirable (and guess what - it works for me!)

Helen - all will be revealed later on today!

Just got word that our Tuesday play date group is not meeting for the next few weeks. Hand Foot and Mouth Disease going around! Makes me grateful that we only had a sore throat in our house!! I was so afraid she had strep....She's doing great now!

Gorgeous day today. Probably will go to the park for a bit this morning before it gets too hot. Tori will totally appreciate it!

I SHOULD be working on FE and gifts.....procrastinator that I am.....I'm going to ask my friend for some advice on some things too.

Yes - my girls do webkinz so we should exchange id's!

Ok so i read it. I'm sorry, but it is very very funny. I dont know what I would have done. Probably just stood there and cried. I'm happy you can laugh about it now. Sounds like your a good sport.

Oh Sarah! That's just too funny! I'm afraid I would have been worse than your hubby by standing there taking pics close up! I probably would have had to run to the potty after taking them because I'd be laughing so hard!

Nope, no Webkinz here. Tori just thinks they're really cute stuffed animals - Grandma and Aunt Alice keep giving them to the kids! Yes, even Ameera has 3 of them!!! And she's not even 2!! I just don't want Tori on the computer all the time! I'm on mine most of the day and Ed works on his when he's home so no time really for her. She gets about 4 hours a week and that's it.

Getting ready for the combined birthday party this Saturday. I probably won't be on chat but may check in late when I get home.

Our friends have a great pool and yard and always invite us to hold our party there. Ed's birthday is July 6th (the reason we started these parties 10 years ago) and now Tori's being July 29th, we just combine them mostly. We do a low country seafood boil with shrimp, corn, kielbasa, and potatoes. We're also doing a hot dog bar with chili fixin's and stuff for Chicago dogs. Even though I couldn't find any neon relish! BUT I have a great website that shows how to make a REAL Chicago dog and a friend that grew up in the area there. Mike runs the bar area and the tunes, his wife helps me to mingle and set up, Ed mans the grill and the boiler! It's been done so many times that we all know what to do! (I handle all the other things that need to be done!!) There'll be the horseshoe pit, the volleyball area and the diving board championships!! It's just so much fun, I wish you all could come!!!

I went to Wegman's to order the shrimp for pickup on Friday. I was really bummed though that they wouldn't do a carrot cake sheet cake. The lady there wasn't really nice at all. First time I've run into anyone there that wasn't nice. We did get some sushi and dumplings for lunch. Ameera loves their Wok Bar with the Pork/pea pods! It's great!! LOVE that place!! We've never eaten there but I really want to do the seafood bar and the sushi bar! My friends just absolutely love it! Ed really wants to get the crab cakes but we never end up getting them. No reason other than we don't have time to wait for them to be made. Bummer. ONE OF THESE DAYS!

I've rambled enough about my day. Gotta get the kids cleaned up and put Ameera down for a nap. Told Tori she could watch Herbie goes to Monte Carlo. For some reason, she's really into Herbie the Love Bug. Can't pass a VW Bug without her yelling about it. It's really quite funny and cute!

OOOOHHHHH!!! I am SO excited! I went to Michael's and Office Depot today to start doing some of my FE things too! You guys have given me just the kick I needed to get started on this!! Ed was even helping me with finding things and is getting into the hang of this!!! WHOOHOO!! He is a great support and has some really great ideas. Can't wait for y'all to meet him! And the girls of course! Actually, I can't wait to meet everyone! It's getting closer!!!

I have been busy buying cruise clothing in the sales today - a T-shirt and swim shorts for DH, a skirt and 5 tops for DD 1, a top for DD 2, some jewellery for me, and a few items for the goodie bags I am making up for the younger girls on my FE list (even though I don't know who they are yet).

Suzie and Amy - you are all very very talented making your gifts - I am very intrigued. I won't be able to come up anything nearly so exciting!

Double digit dancing for Amy tomorrow - yee ha! Dancing shoes at the ready.

Hope your party goes well Suzie - it all sounds really exciting!

Well, I'm posting from work which is a HUGE no-no, but I get all the emails forwarded here from home. I'm feeling very nervous about what, exactly, is a great FE gift! HELP!

Of course I'd never ask anyone to reveal their FE stuff for this cruise, but would anyone share past FE things that were appropriate and/or fun and/or memorable?

Also, my daughters are wondering if anyone besides our group ever hangs FEs on their doors....which I thought was a good question. If I see an FE am I safe in assuming it's a disboard person?

When did cruising get so nervewracking????
