HI Amy

Which cruise are you on? I can't help with the logo as I am not very good with stuff like that.

Great news about Jenn and Nelson isn't it .... I keep up with them on Facebook and I was so happy for them when I got the news :hug:

im on a western with stefanie aka sg4disney oct. 26-23 2010

We are sailing on the Magic in just about 5 weeks!! I laugh when I see the big green smile and the Halloween on the high Sea's on the 1st page of the cruise meets thread!! I cannot believe it has been 15 months since we sailed!!!

I tried to post on here but it said the thread was closed! Sarah, so glad you were able to post the baby! She's gorgeous!!!!

Congratulations, Jenn and Nelson!!! Happy birthday, dear little Amalia!!!

Congrats on the new little princess! Glad to hear everything went well. How long 'til she gets her first set of Mickey (or Minnie) ears?

It's funny - was looking at our cruise pics the other night, and laughed at the one I have of Jenn and Nelson loaded down with bags at the gathering to stuff the Halloween bags. Their next Disney cruise will certainly be different from that one!

Hope everyone else is well and enjoying their summers!

Valerie

We went to Chick-fil-a (her fav next to McD's!) for dinner and then had a yummy chocolate cake with "sparkly pink sprinkles and rainbow colored hearts" that she picked out.

Does anyone have any Disney cruise plans over the next year or so ..... 2011 / 2012. Hope everyone is keeping well. I can't belive it's nearly 2 years since our Halloween cruise .. doesn't time fly.

We're THINKING about doing one next November (2011) for our 21st anniversary if we can afford it. Would LOVE to try the Dream out but we have to see what the future holds for us. I no longer would have to ask the county board PERMISSION to take my child(ren) out of school so that hassle would be out of the way! YEAH!! AND no homework on the cruise would be extra special! Tori still remembers doing missed schoolwork on Deck 9 in the mornings! Yeah for homeschooling!!!!!

Gee, I wonder if we could get a group together.... Just not another Halloween one!!! Or someone else can be in charge of the Trick or Treating!!!! LOL!!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Congrats to Jenn and Nelson! they must be over the moon with their beautiful new addition, I know they were waiting for such a long time.

So good to see people from our group still posting! We still miss our cruising buddies,Would be great to plan a future cruise with the same old group. No other cruise will ever be the same.

Miss all you guys!

just saying hello too
hope everyone is doing good

Realized last night it was 2 years ago today we were all boarding the Magic - hard to believe! Anyone planning another cruise? We priced the Fantasy, but as much as I love Disney, the $1000 difference from the new Carnival ship made it a "no Way". Of course, we don't have a Carnival Cruise booked either, but it is fun to price and dream! Actually, that's how the Halloween On The High Seas cruise started!

Hope everyone is well! And Happy Halloween!

Valerie,

We were just thinking the same thing today! Hard to believe it has been two years. You will definately have to let us know if you book the Fantasy. I would like to book it also and would love to go with some old friends!

It has been a whirlwind year...Mike retired from the military this year so that has been a big change for us. Would be so nice to hear from some of you. Cameron just got his senior pictures, pm me and I will give you the link, if you want to see.

Hope all is going well for all of you! Take Care!

We were on the Magic for the westbound Transatlantic, right before she went into drydock. It will be interesting to see what changes were made.

Gosh .. is it 2 years already! I was on the Magic 2 years ago and also on the Magic one month ago. We had a fantastic Westbound Transatlantic cruise and would love to do it again as 14 nights on board was just amazing.

No plans for 2011 as yet as Taryn ( DD - 19 ) has applied for the WDW college programme and if she gets that we will visit her in WDW and hopefully cruise on the Dream.

Hope all goes well for everyone.

Hi Valerie,

We've been thinking about it for sometime now. We were going to book the Halloween cruise on the Dream but the dates didn't work out for us and funds were tight.

Well, we went to Vegas with some friends a month ago for the Kings Frozen Fury pre-season game and my wife Niola was on a mission to win money to be able to place a down payment on a cruise.

Thanks to the Blue 7's @ Circus Circus, we are now booked on the 9/25 cruise and then a few days at the resorts/parks  :woohoo:

We don't even care about staying at Nassau, they just want to see the new ship, kids clubs, oh yeah and the Aqua Duck!!

anyone else going?

Well that's excellent and hillarious! I wish I could have a mission succeed like that!

Valerie

We booked the 10/30/11 Dream 4-night a little while ago. Actually, we shifted to that, and away from our 7-night Eastern (10/10) when Chris got the 40% off code in the mail back in May. Just last week, we added the 3-night leaving 11/3/11, for a Dream B2B. Figured it means 2 CC stops, 2 days in Nassau when we can have the ship to ourselves, and 2 completed trips towards gold level CC membership.

The alternative plan was going to be 3 nights at a monorail loop resort. We'd figured that we could monorail to V&A's, sincewe'd already have nice clothes with us. Perhaps some other time; like a getaway weekend.

Merry Christmas everyone!

And tomorrow, Happy Boxing Day!

We hope that everyone is having a Magical holiday. Chris and I got a happy surprise last Saturday, when we got our copy of Celebrating Greyhounds magazine. Max is the cover dog for the winter 2010 issue! It is a photo we took in early 12/09, after a small snowstorm.
