Sorry your boys have this, it must be very difficult.

I developed a walnut allergy in my 30's after a lifetime of being allergy free. My doctor thinks it stems from a latex based allergy. I react to bee stings, bananas, and Keflex too. Apparently they are all related somehow. Carrying that epi pen, Benadryl, and Decadron sucks.


I do have FE gifts that contain sweet almond oil as an ingredient (bath and body product) Should I just not bring those or just pop a note in with them to ask them not to use them during the cruise? Your stateroom isn't on my FE list, but I wanted to check anyway.

First a big thank you for all of you who have given me the support on chat about the job situation but listen to what happened today!

My owner came to the facility where I was sent to and spoke with me about the job. Here is what I was told would happen until I decided.....

I am to take a Leave of Absence from my current facility and apply for a temporary Administrator's license and be the administrator at the other facility for the next 6 months. I will still need to decide rather quickly so that if she needs to find a replacement that process can start.

I have already had to fire 2 key people and remove 2 others from their supervisory postions. Talk about stress! I will so need this vacation when it comes!

Hey folks...

We have discussed (I believe mostly in chat) a banner to have when we do our big group picture....

I have offered to buy one from Shindigz, which is a party supply place.

Here are some of the options and I was wondering if we could vote on them, so I can go ahead and place the order.

I was thinking I could cut out some ears and paste it to this one to make the ghost look like he is wearing mm ears.

On this one I was thinking that I could print out the logo and cover the spider web with it... OR I could print out a bunch of Disney characters (preferably in Halloween costumes) and make it look like they are in the web???

Thoughts? Suggestions? Comments?

Oh! And if we do something other than use the logo ON the banner we can simply have one of the kids sit in the front row holding the logo sign while two taller kids hold the banner over the littler ones head....

Has anyone done the Seahorse Catamaran Snorkel Aventure at CC? We are doing it on Sunday at 1:15. I'm not a big snorkeler but the DH and 2 DD's love to snorkel. What can I expect?

Also, we are doing the Cozumel Highlights & Mayan Ruins for the 15 year old DD. She loves Laura Croft and Tomb Raider stuff. I hope she enjoys it.

The DH will be getting his suitcase out soon. He is crazy!!! 30 days out and me living room will be a disaster with suitecases all over the place. But what am I gonna do, he loves the vacations.

was a away shopping yesterday with my DM thinking I would get some stuff for the cruise
No luck got a T shirt
seeen a lovely dress but it was away over €400 no way do I pay that much for clothes
think I will wait until I get over to Florida and hit the Malls there


Not long now until the first Double Dip cruise

Thank you all so much for your happy birthday wishes . Unfortunately I didn't get online yesterday as I spent all day in the gynae ward at the hospital ! All the messages have really cheered me up this morning though, you are really thoughtful and so kind and it is much appreciated!

I actually decided to postpone my birthday in the end, as there was no way I could do anything birthday-like. I spent the day in the hospital where I had a pelvic and urological system ultrasound scan. Fortunately the scan result was completely normal, which thankfully rules out anything too serious, but it hasn't solved the problem, as we are back to square one with no obvious cause for my symptoms! I have now been referred to the urology dept for some more tests. Great fun hey! And such great timing! I have decided to postpone my birthday celebrations until I get a diagnosis or feel a bit better (whichever comes first!)

On a positive note (or is it?) we are now in the twenty-something days to go" zone and I really need to start getting my finger out and getting on with some serious holiday preparations! Time is ticking along really quickly and 4 weeks tomorrow we will be boarding that plane

I feel a trip to the fabric warehouse coming on........

The TOT bags look amazing by the way and I vote for banner number 1 with Mickey ears on the ghoulie!
