Hi! I will be joing the Oct 21 06 cruise for the first time w/ my Dh and son. We are very excited, we spent our honeymmon in the parks and had a great time. We will be joining the group of 18! Counting down the days !!!!!!!!!!!

Count us in! There will be four of us DH, myself and two kids who will be ....DD6 (7 on 10/30/06) & DD4....at the time of cruising!

We booked last fall and will be staying in SPR 5020!! We've never cruised before and are very excited. Now that we are getting close to 1 year out, I am ready to launch into saving and planning mode.

We also hope to go to stingray city for one of our excursions.

We're in 6040 and 6041. So, we're on the other side. Don't get too fixed on who's going to be where, you never know if the "upgrade fairy" will come for a visit. Either way, we'll have our Micky magnets on the door.

Welcome family Group of 18. Suz, we booked Stingray City through Captain Marvin's based on the recommendation of others on the board. I highly recommend them -very nice crew, small group, saved money. I might have mentioned this before but the one mistake we made was not getting the kids used to their snorkel gear ahead of time. Nothing like a crash course in snorkeling in the middle of the ocean.

Hi Everyone! Make room for 3 more Oct. 21, 2006 Magic Cruisers!!
Didn't think I would find anyone this soon! We cruised on the Wonder last Oct. and I didn't join in on the DIS board until July...we had a great 4 day Halloween Cruise and ended up rebooking for this 7-day Oct. 21 cruise! My DS will be about 2 weeks shy of 11 when we cruise...sounds like there are a few kids around this age! He absolutely loved the Oceaneer's Lab on our last cruise so I'm sure he will hang out there quite a bit. He is already so excited...well we both are...about this cruise. He talks about it quite often!
Glad to know that we will have quite a few DISer's on the Cruise!

We just booked a room on this cruise!!! It will be me, DH and our DD's 6 and 12 (at the time we cruise). This is our 5th Disney cruise. We are in room 6560. I'm so excited, DH wanted to try RCCL, but I talked him into doing Disney one more time. I'm glad to see other DISer's will be on this cruise too.

Our friends also just booked for this cruise. They were part of the group that we went with last year. There were more than 30 of us and we really had alot of fun. So far there are 25 of us booked for this one.

Welcome to the thread! I never thought I'd be as excited about a second cruise as I was about the first one, but I am. We all are. Who's in your party besides dh?

I hope this is a pleasant surprise for your husband. Right after we got married, I surprised my husband with new bedroom furniture. He surprised me right back with the news that he was laid off as of that Friday.

There is a large group going, mostly family. I think there are 25 of us. My Daughter [jlc1012} and my 2 sons will be with us. My Daughter is keeping the boys in her room My son who is 14 has been on this cruise before with his Aunt [Tevagirl]. He told me I would love it. We actually took our first cruise in July, a Carnival cruise to Canada. We had a great time. Hope to meet everyone on the cruise!

Hmmm....oh yes I remember taking him. I also remember almost not getting on the ship because of...why was that now.. ...oh yes, it had something to do with his birth certificate, didn't it?

Well, at least it gives dh and I time to get recertified for scuba diving and time for the kids to practice using their snorkel gear in the pool. And plenty of time to make our count-down trip chain! Do any of you have goals of things you want to do before the cruise?

I feel the same way you do about IS THE CRUISE EVER GOING TO GET HERE! I have looked at closer times but they are alot more in price.So I wait and wait and wait.
Once OCT gets here I will start making room ressies for before our cruise and start looking at excursions.
