Just think folks...next year at this time we'll be talking about our first DISmeet, what to pack, and what excursions we are doing. Just so we don't talk about missing "Hurricane -------"! :furious:

I'm sure Chuck and I will be fasting to make room for the Cove Cafe and the 10 pounds of bacon that Chuck will consume at Topsiders. :rotfl:

Chuck can have all the bacon he wants as long as he stays away from my chocolate croissants at Topsiders

Just wanted to drop in once more before we start packing and say hello!

Can't wait to get out of here. Just got back from doctor's office...apparently I am a freak of nature. Not even six weeks after surgery and just took my last Lupron dose...already have cysts growing again. Now we're back to playing the waiting game on how big these babies are gonna get before I finally decide I've had enough and tell them to neuter me.

Oh well, I guess I knew this would happen sooner or later, but I was sorta hoping for a lot more later than six weeks post-op. Not exactly the birthday present I had in mind, ya know?

So, enough of that. Get me on a plane and call me gone - it's time to guzzle and gorge and bask in some warm weather.

Hope everyone is doing well - Jo, I hope you and Danny have a great time at WDW.

I'll catch up with everyone in a couple of weeks and will hopefully have a good story or two to share with some pictures that will provide irrefutable proof of my dorkiness. :teeth:

Go Cards!! :cheer2:

Happy Trails to all who desert me. :guilty:

Have a great time and try not to get "over-served" at the F&W Festival.

:grouphug: Safe Travels to all!!

We'll keep the home fires burning. :wave2:

Nancy,

If you let me, I will dessert you instead. :lmao:

Name your poison...chocolate...caramel...and I'll send it back to you. :goodvibes

Go Cards!! :cheer2:

Brenda, I actually watched part of the game last night to help you secure a Birthday Win. Chuck even asked why I was watching a Cardinals game. Moral Support!!! :thumbsup2

Looking forward to your TR!!

Enjoy,
Nancy

One more thing...Brenda, I emailed Florida Tours for a quote and I received an email back from them saying that they don't service the Orlando area! Huh??? :confused3

The email came from "Top Shuttle". Did they change their name?

Talk to you in two weeks my friend!

GO CARDS!!!!! :cheer2:

Nancy,

You do know that the Cardinals were the team that beat our now pathetic Brewers in the 1982 World Series, correct? Ahh, but that was many moons ago and now we can support our DIS friend. Go Brenda's Cards! Hey, it will be a long time until we get a winning baseball team here in WI. They haven't been above 500 in I think 15 seasons. Now our Packers are down the drain. Thank goodness we have the Badgers.

By the way Nancy, how early do you get up in the morning? I see a post from you before 6:00 almost everyday. Or do you just leave the laptop on the night stand and log on as soon as the alarm clock goes off? Either way, you are one dedicated DISer.

Actually I looked at the posted time this morning. It seems to be off by at least 1/2 hour. I'm usually still in bed at 6:00. I figure I post at around 6:30. No lap top for this girl. Heck, I'm still on internet dial-up!! :rotfl: Let's see now...it's exactly 12:47, let's see what the time comes in at.

Nancy, if you are online at about 6:30am every morning, you will be reading this as I head to the airport. :drive: Take care of yourself, I'll be thinking of you. :sunny: Please keep these cruisers in line. I know it's a tough job but somebody's gotta do it! party:

Everybody have a great week and stay safe! :wave2:

Enjoy your vacation Jo and Danny!!! I'll be thinking about you guys too. :)

We were about to fall off page one folks :sad2:

bumpety bump.

I know its early but I bought myself a lovely black dress for semi formal night yesterday - it even has a bit of room in it so I'll have room to breathe :rotfl:

I'm sticking to black as a theme so it limits the amount of shoes I need to take. :rotfl2:

I also bought 2 lovely bags from Berlin. I'll be all sorted and packed by christmas! :rotfl2:

Hows everyone else doing? I'll be buying little bits and pieces for xmas such as disney pj's for Ellis and a cheapish waterproof watch is on my christmas list. I have ordered the Passporter from Amazon - I will have a sneeky read first then wrap it up for hubby for xmas :rotfl:

I'm also thinking of ordering baskets off Shirley for hubby and son.

I was going to ask Shirley to decorate a crate of Bud with some chocolate and bits and pieces like cookies and a disposable waterproof camera etc for hubby - do you think she could do this? - he's not really into fine wines or spirits so a crate of bud waiting in the room wrapped in all that nice selophane and ribbon would be heaven for him. I'm also getting the sand toys and chocolate etc basket for Ellis - just got to be careful with the snacks cos of his nut allergy. :sad2:

It'll be my 40th birthday the month before, so if I drop enough hints to my hubby he might just get the message and buy me something (i usually pick, fetch and wrap my own presents :sad2: ) hubby pays for them but its just not the same.

bye for now everyone :wave2:

Hi Kids!!

Jeff, I went to the Scuba store today for the snorkel vests. $45.00 a piece! YIKES!!! I think we'll opt for the free vest rental on CC instead. We will try Sports Authority too.

Not much else to talk about. I'm thinking about Jo and Brenda in the 80 degree weather in FL and we are sitting here in the 40's. :sad2:

Have a great evening all...and keep us on page 1. :dance3:

same here in ohio. 40 degrees and rain all week. we are going through disney withdrawls. it was 90s and sunny in sept when we went. we keep saying only 6 or 7 more months and it will get nice again here.

HAPPY ONE YEAR TO GO EVERYONE!!!!!! :cheer2:

Nocternal Nancy (I think that's your new nickname), I would have though you would have beat me to that with one. :rotfl:

Hi everybody

We went to my son's parents evening at school yesterday. :teacher: He's doing really well at all subjects and the teacher is really pleased with him.

To show him how proud we are, I'm making him all his favourite things for dinner tonight - I have even made him a menu so he can choose his courses! I'll get hubby to dress as a waiter :groom: and I'll have my apron on and be chef (as usual) :stir:

He's "in charge" tonight. He picks the games we play, what time he goes to bed (his school breaks up for half term today so it doesnt matter), what we watch on t.v. (that'll be Boomerang then :happytv: ) what story we read at bedtime etc. He loves being "in charge"!

How do you all treat your kids/neices/nephews etc? - I know theres the usual McDonalds etc and small toys, but its so difficult to be "original" all the time.

bye for now :wave2:
