October 20th 2007 Western Magic Part 9

So, how about we keep this thread going until we can start the next one?

Hopefully it won't be too much longer and that 3 more weeks is correct.

Just hope they release all the dates, not just the first few months (or even the last months - holding the summer hostage).

For 2008, they released the itins, but the ressies weren't available until 2 weeks later.

I'm all for that. I think that last year they released the first and last part of the year and withheld the summer for later. Now, it would be excruciating to know the dates but be unable to book the cruises!

so will you go christmas of 08?

today my mom got a grand idea (in a good way) of going during christmas of 08 she keeps talking about how much she wants to go back! you would think we would have only been there once!

No we are doing the Panama Canal next year so it will be early Dec 09 when we go.

ha ha. thats the big joke aroung here. robin bought the dcl scrapbook stuff on our 2005 cruise and hasnt used it yet.
then she went ahead and got the 2007 dcl scrapbook stuff on the cruise.
i teased her"you havnt done the scrapbook from 05 yet!!":rotfl2:
shes a tad behind eh?:lmao:

I bought the one on the ship but there is nothing inside to make it cruise related. I would like some paper that is disney cruise themed but I think I might be to picky. I want to start on mine but have to wait for the photos:sad2:

thats not too bad

we are thinking of going next summer

we were going to do a rode trip to nyc, the falls, toronto, and boston

but now we might not do boston and just go for 1 week instead of 2 and then for a week visit kelsey at least if i had a choice i would do it that way

maybe we could make a stop at your house or you guys could come with us

Hey Rach

We would not mind having you visit and all but we are not anywhere near the places that you mentioned.

How about we say August 22nd if it is Alaska - providing they don't take the ship back before then. I can't go any earlier than the 15th unless it is in June, but then it may be too cold.

If that doesn't work, then we go for 10/24/09! :thumbsup2

Just a side not. The first sailing to Alaska for any cruise line is the week of Mothers day (in May). It was not horrible cold. Yes you needed a coat on land and of course on deck, but it would not be that big of a change for most of you. And you can always go to the sauna to warm up. That is what I did.

For those of you who are sitting there in the cold you are more then welcome to come over. We were in the low 90's today. We are supposed to hit the 90's all this week. Our humidity is 9%. The weather cools down just enought to open the doors first thing in the morning and late evening.

Cass

I am hoping you can point me in the right direction. i am looking for scrapbook paper that would be DCL themed. Is there any out there anywhere?

Hope you are feeling better soon. Try to get some rest.

Oh I love all the videos on your thread. Do you think you can post videos of Kira on this one. I miss the little princess. Of course that is only when you are feeling better.

Have you tried Mouse Memories or Scrap Your Trip?

Good morning all!

Glad to see that I can log in after being away from the computer all weekend and have a few pages to catch up on!

Popping in quickly to agree with Heather ... Mouse Memories has great stuff and I'm not even a very avid scrapbooker. I still haven't made it past Day 1 of our 2005 cruise ... so let's not talk about the scrapbooks that I haven't started for the trips since then. :rotfl2:

I would be all for a reunion cruise in October '09. Not sure if we're interested in the Alaska cruise. I know it's beautiful up there (my mom's family is all from north of Seattle and it's gorgeous there) but I kinda like going to the beach on vacation. It would be really hard to book a DCL cruise that didn't go to CC.

On a side note, my in-laws (Pete's parents) have expressed interest in going on the next cruise, but they keep throwing out alternate dates (Easter/Spring Break or sometime in June) but I'm kind of ignoring them for now. They don't seem to get that those would not be off-season times for the Disney Cruise...:rolleyes1

Wow Carrie, will it ever cool off?

I was hoping it will, but now we have heard that this will be a real mild winter for us. Another reason to move. Normally when we trick or treat we need to wear a light jacket, and the kids need to wear a long sleeve shirt under their costume. This year there were no long sleeve shirts or jackets.

For thanksgiving day I am normally wearing a heavy sweet shirt while putting up x-mas lights. I don't see that happening this year either.

Look on the bright side.... no snow shoveling! :thumbsup2

Carrie,

I haven't gotten a chance to look at all your photos yet, but I love the one with Thomas and Mackenzie! I'll be printing that one for sure!

I wish I could start scrapping my photos - I have to wait a couple more weeks. People have been asking to see my pictures, so I put them (well, abot 350 or so of the 670!) in a generic photo album so I could show them to people. Once I show them to everyone, then I can take them out of that album and start scrapping!

I'll have to check out those sites too....

We're also planning on WDW trip xmas 08. :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

....so are we.:cool1: Brenda, you know you want to spend Christmas in WDW! Sistah Goose, Jeff and the UKers, too. Walt, we never got to have that chat. And all the rest of you.....c'mon! Even the week after Christmas would be great!:thumbsup2
