He always does. I caught him looking into the ports for next years cruise for things to do.

So is anyone else in cruise mode still. We went to this little tea bar and cafe for lunch. We walked out without my purse. Someone was yelling at me to tell me I left it behind and then the owner reminded us that we had not paid our bill either. Boy are we out of it. We all came home at about 1:30 and slept until 4:30. So now it is back to unpacking and more laundry.

Told Sean about this while we were waiting at the pharmacy. He first looked at me and said "how do you forget to pay the bill" , I just laughed and said that 7 days of just eating and getting up, hello. He started laughing and said that would be something we would do.

We are planning on going June 2009 but if they go to Alaska I don't know if we'll do it or not. It would be neat to do! DH really wants to do the Eastern but there is no way we can pull Hayden out of school for so long again. Making up the work has been terrible for him. We booked a dummy date of Oct 2008 for now.

We got DS's school work all ahead of time. The teacher was great about it. It also helps that here in WI the schools were closed on Th and Fr last week.

He will miss 3 days for next year's repo cruise (begining of 3rd grade - first 3 days) and 3, maybe 4 for a cruise in Oct '09 - 4th grade (unless there is something special for August '09).

Hi everyone...

I found my crocs. they were in a hidden compartment. It was a new suitcase and I packed them a week before the cruise and forgot where I put them. dah!


I wanted to say thanks to everyone for the dis tags. That was so much fun. I was like a kid at Christmas.

That was the best cruise we've been on. It was so great seeing Walt & Di and Cass & Rob again. We're looking forward to the next one.

Partied a little too much even though we didn't drink... We didn't sleep much.

I was so whipped on Saturday at the Magic Kingdom... I told Mike I need to go back to the room and lay down. We went back and I was out in about 2 minutes.

We went back about 7:00 and we were lucky to find a seat on Main Street for SpectroMagic.

Excellent as usual!

One of the nights, Dave went to sit in the adult hot tub. He came back and said he was talking to some guy from Ohio who's daughter just graduated from OIP&T. I clued him in as to who that was!!

Glad you found your crocs! I have a funny cruise croc story. (funny I suppose depending on who you are) My 5yo niece was hanging her feet over the tender when we were done with our Grand Cayman excursion and almost back to the ship. Sure enough, one of her crocs fell off and into the water. My sister was mortified and I was laughing hysterically. I'm sure if it had been my kid I would have been MAD! Anyway, we spotted the croc drifting further and further away (good thing they float). It was quite a ways away and one of our tender guys radioed another tender that was leaving the ship (with passengers on it no less). They were kind enough to go pick up the shoe and bring it back over to us. I did a photo play by play of it. It really was funny. There was a couple sitting behind me saying that they should have just left the shoe. I agreed with them, but hey, after all this is Disney! For anyone who may have been on that tender, thank you for being patient while they got the croc and brought it back to us! Apparently it was the only pair of casual shoes my sister brought on the trip for my niece.

Do WI schools have teacher's convention the same time every year, or does it vary? Ijust realized if we plan for another cruise in '09 Thomas will be in school! (Wow, hard for me to believe...but that's a whole 'nother topic )

By the way, I thought it was funny that a Disney credit card offer was in my mail when I got home

It is back to work for me today.

I have one more load of laundry to do. It will make a total of 12. We still have not unpacked anything that is not clothes related. I am hoping to do that tonight. I am also hoping to get to look at my pictures tonight. I have not even taken the card out of my camera yet.

I have been so busy taking care of everything else, including the stuff for the ex that I am falling behind now. me behind I know that is scary.

We didn't. I would like to do the alaskan though.

I wouldn't do the cat 12 gty for that one. I'd want to make sure I, at least, had a porthole.

I hear the views are spectacular.

We didn't rebook either. Next October we are celebrating our tenth anniversary in Las Vegas, where we got married! Not sure what we will do for 2009 But as soon as DCL goes to Alaska, we will be there! Considering that we won't have to take an all-day flight Plus, I am looking forward to NOT sweating like a pig on a cruise

Anyone else have a problem with the NON-Air conditioned Magic this time??? OMG, I nearly passed out while looking at our pics in Shutters!!

The last night in Shutters was very hot! I did have to turn the air down in our cabin . I think this maybe one of the reasons I got sick. I never run the air conditioner at night due to always getting sick when I do.

People keep talking about Alaska in 09, but I thought the ships weren't built for those conditions. I'm thinking if Alaska happens it will happen when the new ships come out. Anyone have thoughts on that?

hi fellow kkers. just thought id pop in to say hi. didnt get a chance to meet many of you last week but i noticed a lot of the guys watching me on deck 10
you know who you are.
as far as my getting my dream guy,..i did a lurking bigred thing all week and saw how happy he and the blue jay seemed to be and i just couldnt find it in my heart to break up another marraige.
(besides, im really scared of that blue jay )
lucky for me afeg (chris) saw how upset i was and was there to console me. he offered to let me stay on the magic for another week and thats where i am now.
i figure with the vd girls out of the way, i may have a chance with chris.

as far as a kk reunion, i have rebooked so count me in.

Oh Red I was wondering what happened to you. I was thinking that you went to comfort the guy that was escorted off the ship, because I am pretty darn sure he isn't married anymore. Be careful though, Bev maybe a quite one but it is the quite ones that have the worst tempers.....you know what they say about a woman scorned....

Alaska is one of the rumors out on the main thread. It would be in summer of 2009 though.

As for bookings, anyone who wanted 2009 had to book a 2008 date because the 2009 are not out yet. They are hoping by the end of the year.

I think most people are looking at a possible double dip in October 2009, if the dates work out right (it will be the last full week of the month which is usually the double dip week).

That is good to know. I didn't know that they did a double dip every month. I liked that port best myself. hahaha

And you are referring to the Magic right? Doesn't the Wonder just do 3 and 4 days?
