Hey guys! Just wanted to pop in before I drop dead on my bed (errr I mean go to bed :rolleyes1 ).

Just got home about an hour ago, it was a looooooong day since we were up at 6AM EST which is 4AM my time and it's now 10 pm!!! Poor Kira had a tough travel day. We had a three hour stopover at O'Hare which was ROUGH on all of us.

It was a pleasure meeting you all. I am just sorry I didn't get to meet some of you or that I only got to meet you once. It really did make the cruise special because everywhere we went, we knew someone!! :woohoo:

Hope everyone makes it home safe! Looking forward to seeing everyone's pics!!! :thumbsup2 :yay:

we made it home. It was harsh for us coming back to reality. Checking in at the airport Scott got taken off by security. We packed his bosses bottle of wine in our carry on. Guess that was a big no no so I gave him his ticket and said we would meet him at the gate. Poor guy at to go to the luggage counter to see if our luggage could be found. Of course it couldn't. So then he had to go find a box to pack it in. He ended up at the Disney store and they packed it for him. He then had to go back to luggage check in and get the boxed checked. At which point he found us. Our flight was late leaving which only allowed us 15 minutes to get to the next plane. For some reason Scott, myself and the kids took a wrong turn in the airport while my parents went the right way. Go figure they did not yell at us that we were going the wrong way. Then we get to the correct gate and they had moved it on us. We made it onto that plane. Got home to 88 degree weather.

Of course we got home to a mess. For those of you that did not hear. We got a phone call from a neighbor on the Friday night while we were in the hotel stating that our dog was left outside the whole day. She is not an outside dog. Come to find out the dog sitter bailed out on us. Our keys got passes around the block we had 3 different families taking care of our dog. We have been reported to animal control. I had roughly 20 messages on my cell phone of people complaining about our dog. So we get in the house and find out that we need to buy a new kennel because she has warped that one beyond fixing. She got sick on the carpet, so I had to shampoo all the downs stairs carpet tonight. Tomorrow I need to sweep and mop the kitchen because she has tracked in mud. Poor dog has not eaten the whole time we were gone. I spent about 45 minutes brushing her tonight. Found out that our doors were being left wide open for hours on end. So our AC bill is going to be high.

So other then that we are home and the unpacking will have to wait until tomorrow.

We had a great time on this cruise. Having people that we knew really help. Every time we turned around we saw some one we knew. Thanks to everyone for making this a fantastic trip.

Just checking in - Rick and I plus Dave, Bev and family all arrived at Gatwick at about 5.50am GMT.

Now strugging to stay awake for the day, so that we can keep jet lag to a minimum.

It was great finally meeting all of you, even if at times it was only a fleeting wave across deck. Thanks for all the great distags...it's going to be fun looking at all of them again.

I hope to have the trip report written up soon - I'll post the link when I have it. Also links to photo's and cruisin' video three, when Rick has finished it.

Happy Halloween for next week, if I don't get back before then.

Hi all....

Here's Jen and family checking in letting you know we made it home safely.

Carrie - so sorry to hear about your situation with the dog! I hope you get everything straightened out.

It was SO fun to meet everyone. I hope we can keep in touch. We need to plan a KK reunion cruise!

Thank you to all the DIStag participants! The tag bags were all so special! We had so much fun playing annd it added an extra special touch to the cruise.

I will be looking at my pics today and attempting to load them into photobucket this week for KK viewing!

Well, have to go and catch up on mail and email. Hope everyone had a safe journey home.

Wow that's a miserable homecoming. I'm so sorry that you had such a rough time!

Hi Sandy! I came up and introduced myself at one point when we were getting off or on the ship. (can't remember at the moment) Sorry to hear you were sea sick. Those were some pretty rocky waters, but Wednesday night was probably the best night sleep I had the entire cruise. ;)

Thank you so much for introducing yourself to me - I love it when people do that!!!! :goodvibes I've had other DISers do that to in the parks because they recognize my picture - I love meeting new people. It's to bad we didn't have time to chat, but that was a busy area we were in. I"m glad you didn't get seasick - it wasn't fun at all!!!:sad2:

Downloading pics from my camera...the first card has 274 pics....

Although I didn't use up all my memory...hmmm...I'll have to go on another cruise and try again!

Hey all checking in,
We got in at midnight last night. I have had a miserable cold since Thursday. Not sure if it was all the wind in Coz or not that caused it. I had a huge fever flying home last night, and landing was horrible on my ears, still haven't popped.

On a better note it was nice meeting all of you. Slo thank you for the kind messages you left on my door.

Jeff, I think you're right about the other board, maybe we should come up with our own signature pic.

Working on our second load of :laundy: still have two suitcases to unpack. Kelsey and Kyle just went back to their mom for the day. And the three of us are off to get a new kennel for the dog. We are going to have to watch her closely for the next few weeks. She did not eat while we were gone. She was a skinny dog to start but now she is worse. She broke a tooth in half while we were gone from eating the screen door, we think she might have a broken rib, and she has blood coming out the other end. I have shampooed the carpet again this morning because she had an accident in the house. Oh the joys of having a pet.

Carrie, I have to ask.......You had 3 neighbors watching your dog and no one fed her? Did I understand correctly that they were the ones that also left your door open?

Sorry y'all had to go through this. It makes me thankful for my friends who took care of our dog and retrieved my mail.

Becky - think a cold was going round the ship. I lost my voice, Friday night. Rick said Disney wishes really do come true.:thumbsup2 :)

I now need to go through my luggage.

I noticed when we got on the ship my "crocs" were not in any of my bags.

(at least I couldn't find them.) I'm hoping I Just overlooked them, because they aren't here at home either. :confused3

I'll find out when I get everything unpacked. :scared:

It's so strange... this has been a part of our lives for over a year. I hope we can keep this going for a while.

Looking forward to posting pics in the coming days. :thumbsup2

Robin (It's all over now..I guess I'm no longer Tart Girl) :sad1:

Yeah, I didn't get that either. If three neighbors were passing the keys around why didn't anyone feed her?
