We all have good intentions to pull an all nighter, but we always have someone who fizzles out. Once that happens, the rest fall asleep too.

On an aside about STS-120, here's what I got in my Star Wars email today!

Luke Skywalker's original Jedi lightsaber, the famous movie prop from the Star Wars saga is now aboard space shuttle Discovery as it waits for its scheduled October 23rd launch at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
The Jedi lightsaber has been carefully stowed away and will travel into space with the seven STS-120 astronauts to the International Space Station before returning to Earth 14 days (and six million miles) later to mark the legendary film's 30th anniversary.

During the two-week mission, Star Wars fans will be able to leave their best wishes to the space shuttle astronauts. Be sure to check http://www.starwars.com over the next few days for more information on how you can get a message to the shuttle crew and what the plans are for the lightsaber upon its return to Earth.

In the meantime, you can watch how the lightsaber's journey began as it left Lucasfilm's headquarters on its way to NASA in this video: http://www.starwars.com/video/view/000545.html

We fly in to Orlando at 12:30. We'll pick up our car, and head to the Raddison.

Hope to see ya tomorrow. :thumbsup2

wow...figured it would be quite on here but not dead. Last post was at 830pm. Anyone lurking or is everyone tucked in for the night? We got to Mnpls after driving through a downpour almost all the way. Dont know how people can live in the ciites and have to drive these roads every day.

Everyone is sleeping except me. Just like a kid at xmas...cant sleep.

So that's what delayed the Launch!

anybody know what my ticker is going to say after midnight. It currently says one day to cruise? Probably talking to myself at this point.

Mark

Okay, I got packed entirely. Two more trips to the store and a bunch of money later and I am ready to go. Both of our parents are here visiting before the trip. Kids are having a heckova time getting to sleep. I'm starting to get that nasty feeling in my stomach that I get before I fly. I'm probably gonna miss Survivor tonight because my Dads have control of the TV watching a baseball game. I weighed all my luggage, as predicted Laura has over stuffed one. It was a good mistake though as we repacked another suitcase with a larger one and moved stuff around. Now most of the suitcases are under 40 lbs. My backpack weighs a ton, it has most of the electronic equiptment in it. I better find time to work on my Halloween sequences otherwise carrying this across the country will be a big waste!

Good night all! I'm going to post one more time before I leave this morning.
