Jeff was anything more said about possibly meeting in the port area for dinner Fri. night?

I've heard nothing else.

I looked at that Grill's menu and that looks pretty good. Plus, it is less than a mile and a half from our resort. We could walk - but we won't.

We will compare their menu to those of the restaurants at the Ron Jon.

If people are meeting up, I'll talk to Suz to see if she wants to.

Are you guys bringing your cell phones down with you? We'll have ours.

Rachel is so excited she can't sleep. She is still up and she still has school to get up for in the morning.

Hi Janice It's hard to believe that we leave Fri. already!! Are you guys all excited? We are, well Rach and I are, Al says he will be tomorrow when he gets out of work. Rachel hasn't mentioned if Bryce has been on the kids thread lately.

I'm with Al. I've had too much to do at work. I crammed 5 days of stuff into 1.5 days. I haven't had time to think about the trip. It doesn't feel like I'm going on Friday.

I'll probably work until 3 tomorrow and then get DS from school. Finish up a few things around the house and then go out to dinner.

Where are you two staying again? Country Inn or Radisson?

It's lonely out here now.

Am I the only poor soul (of the main DISers - not spouses or others that don't post here) that is working tomorrow. Even the people not going until Friday are off tomorrow. I'll probably work until 3:00 and then go pick up DS from school.

Cut the grass tonight (because Goose wouldn't do it for me) so that doesn't have to be done tomorrow.

I just have to start packing. Might start that later tonight or tomorrow.

Oh well. Gotta get some work done so I'll check back later.

Hey Jeff. Just got back from my last day at work. Took the family out to dinner to celebrate the VACATION. It officially starts NOW! I've got a lot to do tommorrow so I will be popping in and out. Sorry you're working dude. I had a crazy last day at work. Very busy.

I leave in less than 12 hours and I have not finished my DIS tag gifts, packing, or for that matter eating. I am having Kaitie's friend Markie put together the Dis tag gift and I am working on the packing and the fish extender. Nothing like waiting till the last minute. I am sorry I have been so lax on these boards but life has overtaken me and my energy is gone by the time the kids are in bed. I will see everyone at the port, I will be the one sleeping while standing. We are have FL tours take us to the port, they are picking us up at 8 am at BCV. So we will see everyone there.

Well, it's finally today! This will be my last post before we leave. I'm getting ready to get everyone up and ready to go.

Thanks to everyone who has made the last few months of planning so much fun. I am really looking forward to this cruise so much more cause of the excitement of meeting new friends!

I have to work a full day today too, and so does DH. It's actually going to be really hectic trying to get stuff finished before I leave, or ready to hand over to my co-worker who's covering for me, because I'm in the middle of about 15 things!

We're flying out of Midway at 12:30, but I'm planning to leave the house at around 7:30 am, go for breakfast, and drive down to Chicago. Is someone leaving after me, or do I need to turn out the lights?

I wanted to pop on last night but didn't get a chance....

I can't believe it's almost here!

Safe travels to all who are leaving today!

I actually got most of my packing done yesterday. I am farther along than I thought I would be at this time. I really only have odds and ends left--well, and I have to "oversee" Emily's packing.

We leave out of DC (Reagan Nat'l) at 12:30 and arrive in Orlando at 5:15pm. If y'all decide to meet for dinner, please post here as I will check it right before we leave the house in the morning. We will try to catch up to y'all if the stars are in line and our flight is not delayed and all of our luggage makes it without being lost.

I am really quite worried about lost luggage. I spent time (as everyone else did too) on tag gifts, and Rob's dress uniform can't be lost either. There's no way they'll give me full value for that thing........

Ok, paranoia over.

Y'all have a great day. I am off to get $$$ and more underwear for Alex. I do not want to do laundry on the ship!

Good morning everyone! Yahoo tomorrow is the big day I just got Rachel's lunch ready now if only I could get her out of bed. We were both up way to late last night too excited to sleep and now today we are both very tired. I will open up the suitcases and start putting things in them as soon as I get home from dropping Rach off at school It's weird but Belle, our chocolate lab, does not like to see the suitcases come out, it's like she knows we will be leaving for awhile

Jen maybe you are the last one from WI to leave. My sister is picking us up to drive us to the airport around 5:30 tomorrow morning.
