Just looked at the Web Cam for Grand Cayman. It is just a soaker there today.

So, what is everyone's Plan B if we get washed out in any of the ports?

Follow up question:

Would you rather keep the Western if it meant rain all day for both Grand Cayman and Cozumel, or would you rather be rerouted to the Eastern if it meant sun for all your stops? (a little different twist to the usual questions) :scratchin

Not sure. That has never happened to us. If we stay on board longer I will do my best not to drive the wife crazy:rotfl:

That or hang on that certain deck longer.

tanning? if so hope the Tart does not come home early. We do not need any casualties before the trip:lmao:

No, you missed that one.

She's lying on her back, they are just that big the they look like a person standing. :rotfl:

Heather, it may depend on which Airside you come in on. If I remember correctly, when we landed over Labor Day, we came in on Airside A and Budget was on the ground floor.

Cass came in on United and that is Airside B. So, it maybe ground on one side but second level on the other.

Avis seems to be in the same spot on both - at least I didn't recall going to two different places when coming in on different airlines. They are always on Second Level.

Jeff - we're always land Airside B, but usually use Dollar. Needed to check where the Desk is as Rick goes off to get the car, whilst I wait for the luggage. Don't you just love the double collection procedure at Orlando:sad2:

Think the bars will be full, Jeff

St Maartin for us. Now Cass has left...I'm safe mentioning this port.

We would be game for the reroute. I have never been to the Eastern side.

I think it is more beautiful. St. John is unbelievable (get there via St. Thomas).

From the pics of the Eastern side I do not doubt it.

Thanks for all the weather updates you have been doing. We are enjoying them.

You should still be able to check in online and print your boarding passes.

Nope, both my tickets and the somewhat helpful gal at Airtran say "CHECK-IN REQUIRED" ...sigh....

I have officially found something new to worry/obsess about. Only this one is no fun!

That is shocking.

But I though ALL tickets say check-in required, even the e-tickets. All you are doing the day before is "checking in" online.

I'd try it on Thursday and see. You should only need your ticket number and last name.

Further, your seats will already be assigned.

If you can't get to it online, call them up the day before and request it. We did that last year when we were at Vero. I had them assign our seats about 25 (note, further than the 24) hours before the flight.

Good luck.

Well, for us, it wouldn't matter too much. We have the Pirate excursion booked on Grand Cayman, but specifically did not tell DS in case we get rained out/diverted. Other than that...we could divert to Eastern, we could spend 5 days at sea....about the only thing that would really disappoint me is to miss Castaway Cay.

Thanks for the suggestions...I will try.

I think my TA will be in the office tomorrow (I just re-read her out of office message) so I think I will check with her also, since she booked the tickets for us.

OK back now, I needed to vacuum the stairs.

Jen, is this your first time traveling with e-tickets at the airline. This is our second, but we forgot how it works.

Jeff, steve, anyone; any help, please.:confused3
