I wish they'd all serve raisins. We dont have a great deal of choice here in the uk over airlines. I remember when we took our first internal flight in the US, we were amazed people were just walking on at the last minute and finding any seat. Maybe its changed a bit since 9/11, but we have to be at the airport at least 2 or 3 hours in advance and are allocated a specific seat.

Do you think you'll recognise people at the Dis meet? Thats my main concern that I'll be standing by a KKer and not even say hello:eek: - I'm not very good at names and faces so I aplogise in advance to anyone who thinks I'm rude - I'm not doing intentionally:sad2:

I also dont see people if I'm walking somewhere, Neil often calls me back as I've strode straight past someone I know - I dont even look at people - I just focus on where I have to go - my sense of direction is pathetic - spin me round once and I'll be lost forever:rolleyes: - god help me on board where it all looks the same:rotfl: - I'd better keep a list of all your cabin numbers on me, so if I get lost someone can help me get me back to my own cabin:lmao:
Either that or I'll crash on your balconies;)

I think we've seen lots of photos of some people that we'll recognize them in whatever they are wearing.
But some of us haven't posted enough pics.

POST MORE PHOTOS EVERYONE!

I'll ask here since I seem to be confusing people on the main board lol!

Is it going to be okay if my passport is in my maiden name and my drivers license is in my married name? The cruise is reserved in my maiden name as well... I just don't want to have to get a new license twice in a month (mine just expired)!

Probably won't be any problem but call up Disney to confirm, I'm sure they'll know the answer, it probably happens a lot.

Maybe you could bring your marriage certificate with you.

OMG Karen! That must be a TOUGH day for you!!! That's a lot of stress to deal with for a very looooong flight :sad2:

Do you ever ask the people around you NOT to have peanuts?? I know I would. Do they still give out peanuts on flights these days with all the allergies nowadays?? The last few flights I have been on they have given out pretzels, but not peanuts, which is a good idea!

I can't remember getting nuts in a long time on an airplane. Crazy that virgin is doing it.

Hi there Walt... well done to Di - I wish I had her willpower - my willpower is zero:rolleyes1

It depends on the airline...so do and some dont. Virgin still serve nuts in the posh part and point blank refuse to take them off - drives me crazy, but they are the only airline that flies daily so we're stuck. They put a tannoy announcement once everyone has boarded advising there is a passenge onboard witha severe nut allergy and if they bought nuts onboard could they please not open them, but its at the passengers discretion, but yes - I am very vigilant around me. If I saw anyone eating them I would offer to buy them an alternative snack off the trolley in exchange for them not killing my child. Not a lot I can do half way over the atlantic if he did have a shock attack - just stab him with his injections and hope for the best. - oh and get the plane diverted of course - wouldnt I be popular:rolleyes: - all at my own expense too - nice! - I'd be bankrupt if it ever happened.:rolleyes1

Of course if I were ruler of the world, if a passenger was to open a bag o' nuts after being warned that there was another passenger with a severe allergy... the D*mb*ss would be responsible for all financial liability. I treat this sort of thing on a regular basis, I know what a danger it is!

But he deleted all those posts..... why?:confused3

Good Lord Karen! Ok, that's even more stress than I thought! Well I must say that you handle things really well. How could someone complain if you even offer to get them a different snack :confused3 You have opened my eyes to people with peanut allergies! Before I read about your ordeals with Ellis about other people at your cruise dining table and now the airplane ride, I had thought about bringing those little peanut butter and cracker packages with us for Kira but I am NOT doing that now :sad2:

I hope the people on that plane listen to you! :thumbsup2 Just tell them what you just said about being diverted ;)

"Now unless you want to be diverted to Greenland, I suggest no one open that bag of peanuts!" :rolleyes1

I apologise if I rattle on and on about allergies - I do it to everyone:lmao: - I had no idea myself til I had to learn about it - Not many people realize just how many things can get contaminated - thinkabout everything you touch just getting up from your seat on a plane and going to the toilet. - Everyone of those things could easily have nut dust on it. I have to rein myself in from being over protective, but its so hard in certain situations like plane - I'm a mother posessed:lmao:

But he deleted all those posts..... why?:confused3

What posts did he delete? What did I miss?

Karen:hug: wishing the best for you all for your traveling:wizard:

Thank you Rose. By the way - I tag you first:banana: - you're the first on my list:cool1:

Half way through Ellis' room, but now he's home from school he's trashing it quicker than i can tidy:rolleyes:

Might just leave the rest til he's back at school tomorrow.

Don't know....
just was catching up on reading the boards from last weekend...
I got really behind and started noticing that all of Jeff's posts from that time period had been edited by him about midweek and said deleted on them.
I can't figure out why and he's been missing on the boards since then.
I've pm'd him.
I don't know what's up.:confused3
