Hmm sounds like a lot of people have "Maggies".

Rob's boss in San Diego swears by his Maggie. Rob was cursing it in Halifax, she got them lost many times :lmao: He prefers "Cass" as his navigator. She is pretty good navigator :thumbsup2

i hear that. robin has been my navigator for over 30 years. im not sure i could even even read a map.
i ask her which way to go and she never hesitates to say
"ILL TELL YOU WHERE TO GO"
(just kidding sweetie)

Well I am very happy to hear about the upgrades. I think it will be very busy here tonight when everyone comes home from work and starts checking on theirs!! Woohoo! Now you got to remember to change your numbers on the tag board or we'll be tagging the wrong peoples. LOL

Thank you:hug:

Hi Karen! How is Elllis doing with school? Shane is getting every excited now about the cruise and finally getting to meet his friend!:cool1:

Hi Missy - he's doing much better thank you - no more tears - he got his football today - 5 days of no tears = brand new posh football - bribery works:thumbsup2

Ellis is excited too. (although if I'm honest its me more than anyone:yay: )

We need a little green flag to hang somewhere when the first KKer goes on!

If its Jeff he said he would take off his Borat costume and hang it from the stack:scared1: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hey Mike i saw the tee-shirt with under dog at Kohls i was going to buy it and rose told me that you are underdog IS THIS TRUE?

its true!! when pollys in trouble i am not slow. its hip, hip, hip, and away i goooo.
and i will be wearing the underdog shirt one day on the ship!!

Hello Susan!:wave2:

HelloooooOOooo! Long time no see! hahahaha

I think it is good that we have two Scott's and two Mikes because if we drink a bit too much chances are you can say Scott or Mike and get it right. hahahahaha

Are you ready? Did you get an upgrade?

Way to go Kira:cutie:  :cutie:  :cutie:  - hope she gets a few more soon cos that lobster will be difficult otherwise:goodvibes

I'm not sure if I will even be giving that to her  They say to stay away from shellfish for 2 years.

But I don't listen to everything "they" say either :rolleyes1 We gave her peanut butter yesterday for the first time. They say not to do that before 1 year but after hearing what you go through with Ellis (I never even thought about salt & pepper shakers!!) I thought I would rather deal with an allergy HERE at home than in Florida or in the Caribbean ::yes:: Besides, Rob and I don't have any food allergies. She was good and seemed to really enjoy it! :goodvibes

cinnamike and tart girl have gotten upgraded to a cat 9 with an ocean view. and im not joking. room 2566

WOOOO HOOOOO!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: Good to hear you ain't scrubbing the bilges anymore!! pirate:

How do you know which side of ths ship is facing the terminal and CC and such?

I just noticed on my latest " DCL refresh":rolleyes1 , I booked a year ago yesterday. You'd have thought I'd have got an upgrade on the anniversary wouldnt you:lmao:

Seriously though - that year has gone so quickly..not long now folks:yay: :dance3: :yay: - 18 days til we fly:cool1: :cool1:

Nothing for us either Karen.:sad1: Looks like we're going to be unlucky. But we're going to have some great people to cruise with. So we are lucky.

I just got off the phone with my Godsons mom and guess what? He opened his eyes wide this morning!! It's still very clear that he still in the coma but this bit of news is giving us hope now. He hasn't followed anyone around the room or even followed a finger in front of him, but we are hopeful.

The doctors are quick to shoot us down with their thoughts but we just need a little something to hang onto.

The surgery to repair the hole in his right lung was successful but they have not let him breathe on his own since. They will let him try today for a couple hours and see how things go.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
we are still a bottom feeder on deck 2 but its amazing how a stupid window can get a person excited.(we really would have been happy either way)
at least this time we dont have to worry about anyone pushing us out of the way in the upgrade line:laughing:  :lmao: :lmao:

Oh well, it's time for me to get to bed. Early day tomorrow. Emily has an MRI scheduled. She found a lump on the back of her head a few weeks ago and we finally have an appt for an MRI. I really think this is nothing to worry about--swollen gland or something but I am so thankful to get an MRI because she had an episode back in Monterey that resembled a slight seizure (the neurologist thought we were crazy I think--long story) and no tests were ordered. Anyway, keep her in your thoughts please folks. Good night.:goodvibes

We are ready........just counting down the days now!  No, we didn't get an upgrade:sad2: but that's okay.......we are hardly ever in our room anyway!! I really am happy for all of those who did!! What a great surprise and a great way to start your vacation!!:yay:

Anybody watch the first part of Ken Burn's new documentary tonight, The War, on PBS?

Considering the scope of what he's trying to do - exploring WWII from the US perspective and contribution - it's actually pretty well done. :thumbsup2

we watched it.(and taped it) we thought it was good.
robins dad was in the philipinnes(sp) during the war.
