Judy it can't hurt to call DCL and ask for a table just for your group. We have been linked with our friends the last 3 cruises making us a group of 5. The first time we were seated with another family of 5 and the next 2 times we were given a table just for the 5 of us.

I am soooo happy tonight. I found a dress at Boston store at Mayfair fr the semi formal night and for a casual dinner. I did not spend anything on them. I had $50 in Boston Store gift cards and $50 in Mayfair gift cards and I was able to buy the dresses and Lancome powder with the free makeup bag. I ended up saving $278 after sales and gift cards. My DH says the dress makes me look slim, I like that word.

I have a question up for opinions:

We are a group of 7 do you think they will ask us to share a table at dinner?

The reason I ask is that while I love my parents and my family they tend to argue periodically, not fight just not agree, and I am afraid that they would scare away another family.

If you think that we will share should I ask for a table for only our family ahead of time?

Thanks fr any help

Judy:love:

I think I'm going to call it a night too. I am suddenly getting tired and the boards seem to be running slow again right now. See y'all in the morning.

I don't play poker. I also wouldn't trust on online site. Guess I'm naive.

Not much of a gambler. Last time in Vegas, we didn't even gamble.

I have a conference there in late November. I may drop a little cash that time.

i just play when I need to relax a bit - i can pull up a game and then read DIS boards when I fold my hand.

it is very addictive, if I find myself playing a lot - I have to force myself not to play.

My mother plays a lot (she is retired) she probably plays 4-8 hours a day...makes some good $$$

Facts about Scott..............eats anything. Yuck. The only thing I think he doesn't like is Black Olives. But he will try them everytime they are on a salad. I don't get that.:lmao:
Loves to surf and snowboard. (Getting way too old for these sports. He may break a hip.:scared1: )
The best daddy in the world.
Loves to play golf. Well any sport actually.
His favorite drink always includes the Captain.pirate:

Hope that helps. Someone said for me to give him a name. NOOOOO WAYYYYYY am I taking on that responsibility. I have to live with him.

Ok here is a name for him Captain Scotty

Hi Carrie. Yes, I'll be bringing extras to the DISmeet.

Good job on the rummage. Do you have to set it up each time or do you leave it set up in the garage all week?

Have to set it up each week. But that is the part I like. I really don't sit down much from 6:30 to 2:30, I am always moving things and setting things up and hanging things up. I really like organizing the stuff.

I really wish my DH Dave would get on here and introduce himself. But he never even touches the computer. Maybe because I hog it all the time! I'll give a brief run-down of him: (personal ad style ;) ) Male, 43, 6'4", mailman, former military, loves to play golf, watch football (The Ohio State Buckeyes and Carolina Panthers), seeking lots of food, good beer, quality guy time on the ship (beer tasting, shooting hoops, etc) and oh yeah, joining the other guys on deck to check out the "scenery". :rotfl: He would kill me if he knew I typed this.

That is very funny. I'd be scared to death to see the type of personal ad that my wife would write about me!

It is isn't it. He's like a train wreck. You can't look away. :lmao:

Nail hit squarely on the head!

Nice Do!

Actually I found a picture of you after Robin caught up to you. Maybe you could use this as your avatar. BTW, when did you get your hair cut (off)?

Hey, I think I've treated that guy!

Just a word of caution to everyone, don't do a Google Image Search with the word "redhead" in the search box. :scared1:

I can only imagine!

i just wanted to thank everyone for all the pms and emails during my recovery. the doctor said i will be up and around and dancing in no time. :cheer2: special thanks to afeg. he is my special english gent!!!
anyone wanting to email me can get my info off the kk website.
thanks again, big red

So that's what happened to AFEG!

Can not remember if I replied to this this morning or not. In order to rent a car the closest place to rent one from is the airport. So we would have to drive our van to the airport to pick up a car drive both vehicles back to my parents house then drive the rental back to the airport. I think it would cost more and there is a lot more driving back and forth.

Did I totally misunderstand you?

No do-able then. I have a few rental agencies near me that I could even have them deliver the car to my home. I assumed that you had the same.

Thank you for taking the time to review it. I have made some changes with DHs help and Steves so I think I will be sending them out tomorrow. I am still fuming over this.

I really hope that you can get everything squared away to your satisfaction! Good Luck!
