I just emailed my TA about our air arrangements. (since my guess is that Disney will not help) I worry about that 37minute connection in Atlanta and our 11:45 departure from Orlando.

I need some help/advice...

The day we get back into port...does anyone know what time everyone actually starts getting off the boat?
We were thinking of going to Downtown Disney after we dock, if there is enough time (our flight home is at 7pm) and if we can find an easy way to get from the port to Downtown. We have the DCL transfers, so would we have to get back to the port by a certain time to catch our ride back?
I'd really appreciate any suggestions, ideas, tips...
Thanks!!! :confused3

is Tea with Wendy any good?

Has anyone been?

My daughter isnt into Peter Pan so doesnt really know Wendy - but she loves a good Tea Party

We have done the party 3 times. It is cute. The kids learn how to take tea. Then they get to go up and have their pics with Wendy hat her table.

On our last cruise, people started getting off at 7AM.

Guess that means we can't manipulate someones bones. What's the fun in that? :rotfl:

I've seen people use bold or another color. I just find it easier that way. What I did with Karen's is break the quote so that it could be quoted again. If you put it in with the quote, you can't quote it and comment on it.

No, you CAN change people's quotes (see above) but I typed inside of her quote and NOTHING outside, so when I hit submit reply, I got a message saying that my post needs to have at least one character

If you're thinking of manipulating someone's bones I think I may be glad that Jay and I had to cancel this cruise after all. Thank goodness Plankton doesn't have a skeletal structure. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Figure that you want to arrive at the airport at 5pm to keep the TSA happy. Then add in Drive time and you need to leave DD at 4pm. (I think that it is an hour.) Now, you should have everything done and off ship by 9am for sure, and with another hour of travel time you will be at DD by 10am. That gives you 6 hours to goof off.

Are you on Delta?

Yes, Atlanta is a big airport. Only once have I gone through there and had my connection in the same terminal. You may have to run.

The funny story about the time I had the connection in the same terminal. I had a conference in Charleston, SC and Suz came down for the weekend befoe with me. She flew back on Monday and had a short layover. She had to go I think 2 terminals to catch her plane. I come in later that week with an hour and a half and mine was about 6 gates away. I called her while I was eating in TGI Fridays. :rotfl2: She didn't appreciate that.

11:45. I'm really surprised DCL does this. Again, you must be on an airline that you can check your bags right at the Port. Makes the airport a lot easier.

We are on Delta Shipbound but Homebound we are on American. I'm sure that we will be able to check the bags at the port.

I've run up against this from time to time.

Do you carry yours in a case? Or in a fanny pack/purse?

The reason I ask is that I want to carry my camera EVERYWHERE! I have 5 gigs'worth of memory to fill up on this cruise! But I'm not sure if I should use my camera case (has a long shoulder strap) or try to find something better....

Jen - we have a super slim camera which I carry round in a small sholder purse.

Gosh, all this junk about problems with TA’s. I guess I’m out of the norm. Mine is FABULOUS!!! She just called me to tell that docs are NOT printed for our cruise yet. I didn’t even ask for that info yet. They are very strict about printing them 3 weeks before the cruise and then sending them out. Those of us who registered our info on the DCL site and included our air information stating that we are leaving (let’s say) 1 week before will have theirs sent out earlier than the rest of us.

She has never let an email go by without answering it and never a phone call without returning it. I always have tons of questions for her concerning some health issues and excursions. She answers each and every question after she called DCL first. She even gives me the name of the person she spoke to.

I wish you guys could have her as yours.

Jeff, are you switching your Aug ressie over to her? She’s at AAA in Tosa.

BTW..She works VERY part-time. One day a week and every other Saturday. She always leave word with the other agents that if something ever arises for any of her clients that she is notified immediately at home!!
