Just tell him there is no state income tax. :thumbsup2

Can you really retire and WORK at WDW?

No state income tax. This is the exact reason we became residents 11 years ago when we lived in Jacksonville....great place to live (at least in the 'burbs).

Does anyone happen to know if the weight limit is the same on everyone airline? And if so what is it?

I think there are many who share this dream with us, Cheryl!:cloud9:

Me, Me pick me. So when I was 13 I thought I would work at the parks as a person in a costume to put myself through college. I would work my summer and all school breaks and then come home for school.

I have a close family friend that his wife worked for DL for years. She would always send me little things from there. She offered me an office job when I was 18 but I did not want to sit in an office so of course I turned it down. Wrong thing for me to have done.

If you are talking the same system wide, no. It depends on the airline. Some cap it at 50 and have you pay extra. Some may go to 70#. There are some who have an intermediate class for 50#-70#. It all depends on the airline.

What are the most likely ones you'll get stuck on from PHX? USAir/America West nonstop, Delta through Atlanta, and maybe Contental through Houston.

Go out to each of their sites. Their baggage policy is most likely on their home page.

Hey how did you figure out what airlines. I have been trying to guess at this for a while now. I will go check all of those, and how did you know the stops also?

Hey, together you guys could count the kids that visit WDW. :rotfl2:

So would you become a teacher? Maybe kindergarten?

More like Pre-K or Preschool. I could have taught in a private school. My degree is under Home Economics rather than Education. I worked for a couple of years after graduation, then Rob was comissioned, we moved out of La., and we started a family. I have always known that if it were financially possible, I would be home with my kids instead of working outside the home. I got this degree thinking that I could use it in a job as well as in parenting. So who knows what is in store for me when Rob retires and we settle down? It will be hard enough to stay in one place forever. I also enjoy volunteering. I do that at the kids schools and the chapel on base, so the older I get, the more I feel like I need to volunteer my time more and more.

So, yeah, we could count the kids, I could change their diapers and then Rob could figure out the best way to get them in and out of a line (Op.Resch)....

Yep I will retire from being an ultrasound technologist and then work at Disneyworld part time :cloud9: Seeing how Al is 9 years older than I it would be nice if I could retire "early" and we could move down to FL and then we could supplement our retirement income by my working at WDW and Al working at Sea World. A girl can dream, we'll see what actually happens ;)

You sure are right about that. Somone I work with tried to burst my bubble by telling me when you start doing something you love for a job you end up hating it. I don't think I could ever hate WDW and I'd certainly liketo put that theory to the test

Yeah Kira :woohoo: :woohoo: Did you catch it on video for Rob to see when he gets home?

Of course Rob is out of town, so what does Kira do??

She took her first step today!!! :yay:

The past few days she has been standing a lot on her own for about 10-30 seconds and today she was standing all on her own for about a minute as I was watching her and then she looked at me and took a step then tried to take another one and she fell on her bum

I know where all the major airlines hub, so to get you to MCO from PHX, the first choice I'm sure of DCL would be to go with a carrier that hubs there. The next would be one who does non-stops PHX-MCO but does not hub in either city. That is too hard to figure. Then I went with the ones who have the most direct flight going through a hub city.

USAir/America West hubs in PHX.

Delta hubs in Atlanta, Cincy and Salt Lake City with a mini-hub in LAX.

Contental (which code shares with NWA) hubs in Houston, Cleveland, Denver and Newark. NWA is in Minneapolis, Detroit and Memphis (however Memphis is limited on the number of flights, so I don't think that would work).

I don't think DCL will go with Southwest. I don't think they'd do AirTran either.

American hubs in Dallas (besided Chicago and St. Louis), so that may be an option.

The key would be to find out who DCL has set up in their terminal for the baggage check. I will bet you are on one of those airlines. I can't remember who is all there.

You are good. You got all the weights for all the airlines when I had just got 2 from their home pages. I had no idea there where non stop flights from her to there. That would be way cool if we got one of those. I just want to know my flight info. I need to book the shuttle and weigh my luggage. I am not a very patient person.

I just got into DCL. Still no airline info listed. I wonder if I call them tomorrow if they could tell me. I am wondering if our TA messed something up.

Hey the wine tasting is the same day as our mud room. We have that first thing in the morning then the wine tasting. I will be out of comission for the rest of the day. Any one know how many wines we get to taste? I will be so relaxed.
