Hail King Jeff! - King of the milestones:lmao:

karen missed this one too!

I was watching Flubber with Ellis - actually I fell asleep:rolleyes1 - I bought it so he could see it before he makes it at kids club

Hello there everyone...

I read 30 pages this morning and now am just 39 behind... wow oh wow you talk a lot around here. =)

Sons 16th birthday party was a blast! Makes me a little sad that he is growing up so quickly. I'll try to post a pic or two later in the week. He was thrilled with his Jack Skellington jean jacket I got him. Yeah mom..lol

Is everyone packed and ready?

Looking forward to the piccies

When I am really far behind I try not to reply to anyone because then I lose my page that I was reading and if i hit first unread it takes me to the current page I just posted on instead of the miles and miles of posts behind me that I have to read. Is there a cure for this other than keeping up?

I just hit the back button 3x. Takes you back to where you left off.

Actually yes.

If you quote someone, after you post the reply, click on the little button next to their name in the quote. It will take you right to that post and you will be on the page where you left off. :thumbsup2

Hope that helps.

Smart *ss;)

One of the little girls at Tylers party is Hindu and she said her grandparents were married at 8 years old. They did not live together but it was arranged and sealed by marriage at 8. Her parents were 14 same type of thing and moved in together at 16. She is approaching 16 and will be given somewhat of a choice... he must of course be Hindu and of good family but a choice non the less.

I knew a girl at school - she told us she was going to visit relatives in India...she never came back:sad2: - She was married off there and then and stayed over there. We asked her parents - they wouldnt even forward a goodbye card to her from us.:sad2: She was 14.

You're right on that one. We all LOVE the blue jay.

You forget how many fans the Blue Jay has around here. Looks like you're Cruisin' for a Bruisin' Tart!

Hi Susan. I was wondering what happened to you lately. Glad to see you're back. I'm not packed yet but I do have the Junk Suitcase done already.

Glad the party was a success.:thumbsup2

I hear ya Andy. Tony's wedding is this coming April and we've made our donation towards it already, but next will be Kristin who's wedding will cost us much more. She changes her mind daily on what kind of wedding she wants. I keep whispering "Destination Wedding" in her ear but she doesn't hear it.:confused3

Well then allow me to be the first KK to wish you and Hazel a HAPPY ANNIVERSARY a little early.

Thanks Nancy and have fun at your meet today!!! :goodvibes

I'm off to upload on photobucket - more party photos:lmao:

If that doesnt clear this thread I dont know what will:rotfl2:

Scott#1 is back.:cool1: I agree with cap'n scott....thats why i am candyman now.

Thanks to all the well wishes, I am about 95% better, which is ALOT better then where I was a week ago. After playing catcher half of my life i thought it would be the knees that went. This is about the third time I have had a pinched nerve like this:scared1: . It is allways in the same spot. At least Carrie's pack mule is better for the trip. :rotfl:

Glad to have you back Candyman! :thumbsup2

Are they almonds on the top?:scared:

Yes, I believe they are.

That is funny. Rob bought a Magellan GPS this past summer. We call her Maggie.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Hmm sounds like a lot of people have "Maggies".

Rob's boss in San Diego swears by his Maggie. Rob was cursing it in Halifax, she got them lost many times :lmao: He prefers "Cass" as his navigator. She is pretty good navigator :thumbsup2

I get one morning a week. It just happens to be Sunday.

I think I have only slept in about 5-6 times since Kira was born. And if you know me, that's unbelievable, I love to sleep in

Yeah, she'll be there.

I had back surgery 3 1/2 years ago. Herniated a disc at L4-L5. They removed 80% of the disc. They also took out 30% at L3-L4. I had pinched nerve that ran all the way down the leg to my foot. She had pain down to her leg.

Her problem though, I think is a pulled muscle in her lower back. She has a lot of pain if you just touch it back there. I've had that too where a muscle tightens up and effects the nerve. When it is a pinched nerve at the spine, it won't hurt in that spot. At least not by touch.

Ouch. Back problems are no fun :sad2: My L5 is fused to my sacrum, it was a birth defect. Ever since my early 20's it's been very painful. When I get up from sitting, it takes me a minute to straighten up, I look like I am 70 years old till I can straighten out :scared1:

Congrats Jeff on the milestone!! Love the smilie!! :goodvibes

ok, who else is doing this....

if Ellis or Neil go to put something on I yell -"DONT WEAR THAT I'VE IRONED IT TO PACK FOR THE CRUISE".

I have my 20 pairs of blk trousers out - lets see which ones I can squeeeeeeeeeeeze inot this time. If not I'm off to the shops tomorrow - again:rolleyes:

Ok, it's 10:20 and I have about an hour to kill before leaving for the DISmeet. I just popped in Cass' video AGAIN!!!! I just love watching it. I really like the music she picked too. :happytv:

Geez Nancy, I am gonna have to make a new one after this trip so you have something else to watch ::yes::

Have fun at the DIS meet guys!! Wish I could join you! :thumbsup2

A BIG thanks to Steve. I appreciate all the med advice. Thanks doc:goodvibes I owe you a couple.

candyman (scott)

Anytime Candyman.

But first here's a picture we just came across.

Rach and I sharing a hammock on CC in 2003. I can't wait to be back there in a few weeks!

meandmom.jpg

I really need one of those hammocks! There was some similar to that at CSR I enjoyed the heck out of them.

Anti inflamatories might help. Back surgery is scary. Did yours help?

Glad we'll see her later

Back Surgery scares the h**L out of me! Of course, in my line of work I pretty much only see those that go arwy.

Ther's no way I'll get this FO but I have to at least try

Congrats!

Yea...I just heard that if you log on to the DCL site you get an extra 300.00 free spending money on board the ship.

(How did I do Team Wis...did they all leave yet ):rotfl2:

:rotfl2: Nice shot!

Impressive Jeff!

I have a heck of a time with that too. I've gotten into the habit of multiquoting to catch up then posting as I go.

One more quick post before we leave.

I just got off the phone with my Godsons mom and guess what? He opened his eyes wide this morning!! It's still very clear that he still in the coma but this bit of news is giving us hope now. He hasn't followed anyone around the room or even followed a finger in front of him, but we are hopeful.

The doctors are quick to shoot us down with their thoughts but we just need a little something to hang onto.

The surgery to repair the hole in his right lung was successful but they have not let him breathe on his own since. They will let him try today for a couple hours and see how things go.

Please keep praying for Spencer, I know you will.

Talk to you after the meet everyone. Someone will be posting pictures I'm sure. I just hope no one catches me with a mouthful of pizza.:goodvibes
