I've been thinking I need to hang by the salad bar myself with just a little pizza. I have a hard time resisting pizza, I love pizza

Don't worry Cheryl I will be staying close to the salad bar becasue it is the only thing that will be low carb. If I am lucky they may have some sugar free dessert, Old country buffet always does.

This cruise has not been easy to get ready for I am so far behind.

We do not have suitcases yest, I have not completed the paperwork or made my personal Itineraries. My biggest problem is that I have not done the shirts, door magnets, or finished my distag gifts. I have to buckle down and just do it. The last cruise was easier because it was in February and that is a slow time of year, after the holidays and the kids are in the rhythm of school already.

With Dave working the 2nd job it is not easy getting things done because I feel overwhelmed with home problems and kids stress. This vacation is really needed.

Has anyone seen We Are Marshall? Scott and I are getting ready to watch it. I have heard it is good. I hope so. I am not much of a movie watcher so it better get my attention in the first 5 minutes or I am gone.

Hi Judy. Don't feel bad. I haven't finished everything yet either. I really start putting some things together to pack. But I will probably wait to the weekend before we leave and be completely overwhelmed.

I am soooo happy tonight. I found a dress at Boston store at Mayfair fr the semi formal night and for a casual dinner. I did not spend anything on them. I had $50 in Boston Store gift cards and $50 in Mayfair gift cards and I was able to buy the dresses and Lancome powder with the free makeup bag. I ended up saving $278 after sales and gift cards. My DH says the dress makes me look slim, I like that word.

I have a question up for opinions:

We are a group of 7 do you think they will ask us to share a table at dinner?

The reason I ask is that while I love my parents and my family they tend to argue periodically, not fight just not agree, and I am afraid that they would scare away another family.

If you think that we will share should I ask for a table for only our family ahead of time?

Nancy, how's your godson doing?

Thanks for asking Rose. There has been no change in his condition. He is still in a coma and there is very little brain activity. So far he has had 5 surgeries in two weeks.

Chuck saw ANOTHER motocycle accident today. He didn't see it happen though. He said it looked like an SUV and a car were involved somehow and many people standing around crying. I can't wait until winter comes. Then I don't have to see all these people driving around without helmets.

At least Wisconsin is making some noise about a mandatory helmet law again. But with Milwaukee being Harley's hometown, they will get a lot of flack about it. Don't know if it will fly here.

We had a table for 8 on our first cruise at our request but then linked with another DISer couple and ended up at a table for 4. It was perfect.

I really wish my DH Dave would get on here and introduce himself. But he never even touches the computer. Maybe because I hog it all the time! I'll give a brief run-down of him: (personal ad style ) Male, 43, 6'4", mailman, former military, loves to play golf, watch football (The Ohio State Buckeyes and Carolina Panthers), seeking lots of food, good beer, quality guy time on the ship (beer tasting, shooting hoops, etc) and oh yeah, joining the other guys on deck to check out the "scenery". He would kill me if he knew I typed this.

I haven't done anything yet, but DIS bags. I am one of those work best under pressure. You so need this vacation, it won't come soon enough.

You guys are motorcycle accident magnets. We used to have a MC, but got rid of it. With Mark's job, he's seen too many, and didn't want to be one of those stats.

Just got home from a busy day of shopping and stuff like that. Am now trying to get through my laundry, pay the bills, exercise, organize for the upcoming trip, and whatever else comes to mind ... oh, I know ... pet the cat.
