Me too--we have four in our basement--1 for each of us--terrible!!! :confused3

We have 1 per person and then 2 extra...my DS even has his own laptop!

However, I am really trying to talk DH out of taking the laptop on the cruise. I told him how pricy internet access is...I think that will work!

That's quite an accomplishment building his own:cool1:

I've been building my own since the mid '90's. I just can't seem to get into store bought computers.

Let Sean know that I am an Avid computer gamer. I live for the First person shooters. but have been known to play a RPG or two.

DH is a MMORPG guy...He's playing Worlds of Warcraft now, but before he was playing City of Heroes, and of course all time fave, Asheron's Call...plus some turn based games too, Civ, Master of Orion...

My DH is definitely on the conservative side, yet drinks diet Pepsi, and before that, regular Pepsi...and I'm more liberal than he is and I like diet Coke!

You guys are a real James Carville/Mary Maitlan couple then, aren't you? Just reversed roles.

Never figured how those two met and then had kids on top of it. Yet they're still together. I can just imagine the arguments in that house during election years.

That's how our family is, one per person. It started when Laura and I were first married and she kept changing preferences on my computer. As well as being on it when I wanted to be. I finally built her one of her own. When Stuart got old enough to use one, she told me that she would use the laptop and Stuart would use her computer. Funny thing, when I would get home from work there would be cracker crumbs all over my keyboard and computer games loaded on my computer that would change my resolution to 800x600 GRRrrrrrr! So, I built one for Stuart. When Leah came along I didn't even bother with the whole affair. She had one set up for her even before she was ready.

I'm really debating on whether or not to bring my laptop. It's pretty heavy and I know that I don't want to spend much time on the internet (I hate those prices too!) but since we are not taking our cell phones, I decided that I can occasionally email a message and pictures to family and friends. Question is will I be better off using onboard computers or my own? I just don't know.

Hhhmmmm
Can't remember..... wondering why?

What color is Kool-Aid? Any color you want!

Red, blue, purple, green, orange...they've got them all! :cool1:

I am referring to the whole Jim Jones thing from back in the 70's when all his followers drank the "kool-aid" and committed suicide in Jonestown, Guyana.

People of the left tend to drink the "kool-aid", i.e. just follow the "talking head" leaders. Not much self thinking.

Not trying to start a political debate on the thread, so I'll end this here.

Do they have computers on board? If so, that may be our solution/compromise...

I used to play CivNet all the time! I've thought about WoW (my brother got into that) but I haven't made the commitment yet.

Hi Linda,

How are you doing?

What's going on?

Where are you staying?

Is your insurance paying for everything?

Did you loose much?

Sorry for all the questions.....

Hi rose... :)

We are not too bad thanks, we have been moved about 6 miles away from our home to a 2 bed aptment, which is OK but on 3rd floor and is SMALL!!!

Insurance company paid for that, but seem to be being a pain on other stuff.

Sorry, didn't catch the reference...you see, I was a young 'un then... born in '74!

Ending discussion now :)

Hello Steve, btw i got to speak with Lindy loo but only briefly last week and still i managed to put my foot in my big gob with something like "wow Lindy you sound so young and you have a southern accent",d'oh hello why wouldn't she that's where she's from you thick Muppet...:rolleyes1 She said to say thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers and that she and Wayne and Eloise are so looking forward to cruising with us all...Oh and that she's paying for my beer all week ....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

and they are going to make it into a major motion picture.:rolleyes1
it was a deal worth over 7 figures!!
it would appear rob and cass are not moving to another location in canada but instead are moving to hollywood.

Ok...I must stop surfing the web.If I don't, I will be broke.

Let me preface this by saying I rarely go in to Gymboree. They're very pricy for kids clothes (even sale stuff) and never seem to have much I like for little boys.

Of course, today I go looking for something else and found this:

http://www.gymboree.com/shop/dept_c...T<>prd_id=845524445968632&bmUID=1188325547730

A whole collection of pirate-themed clothes, including little boy briefs! I cannot believe I'm even thinking about it, but I may have to wander in to my local Gymboree tonight to see some of this stuff in person...sigh...
