Hi Liz!! I have to agree with Carrie on the RSVP's. My son is getting married in April and the planner told them the same thing. People just don't respond anymore.

Or they wait until the last minute...be patient, I know easy for me to say. I know I wasn't that patient when it was my wedding.

Have you tried the Miller Chill, Mark says it very good. If I drink beer, I'm a Miller Lite girl also.

Not yet, but by the end of this weekend I think I may need a few.

We had to have our RSVP count in 20 days prior to the wedding date so they could get everything prepaired. So the last minute thing did not work to good for us.

Yup, QVC's "Today's Special Value" about a week or so ago. It's really bling...bling!! Kristin tried to take it from me already. I ordered the wrong size but I'll just wear it on a different finger for a better fit.

See, I've never heard that before. Guess it's just not something done around here. They have until the 10th to RSVP, I'll wait until around the 15th and then I'm honest to god going to call people. I don't like not knowing... then I pay out my butt and my reception hall won't let us take the extra food home. It's still theirs. And then we're also paying for a soft bar, and that's another 7 bucks a person. It's just too ridiculous you know?

If they tell me they don't know, then I'm going to tell them not to come. Seriously. I'm stressed to the MAX right now as it is. My mom and my maid of honor are arguing on a constant basis. My mom and I are arguing on a constant basis. Nothing I do when it comes to this wedding is right. My mother told me the other day that no one's going to come anyway because it's my second wedding (I got married at 18, it ended a year later when he nearly killed me). I'm in tears constantly over this wedding and my patience has just run to the breaking point.

Weddings can be very stressful. My son (Tony) and his fiance' are just breezing through this planning thing right now. Just wait until March though. I'm sure there will a few tears on their end too.

Just try to relax and as I always tell my kids: "Have low expectations in life, then no one will ever disappoint you".

Hey cheer up. I have enough wedding horror stories about mine that would make you think yours is easy and a piece of cake. Speaking of cake. You know how you order it ahead of time. Well they ask "How many people have you invited." We responded with "200" So they say "Ok we will make a cake to feed 150" That made me mad because what if all 200 came. Well anyways. The week before the wedding the cake place calls me and says "we need you to come back in a pick a different cake style. The one you ordered will feed 150 and you only had 80 RSVP so you need to change the style of cake to one that feeds 100, that would leave you with a 3 layer cake all on one stand" I was so pissed I told them to jump off a bridge and leave my d*** cake alone."

You have more patience than I do! I would have gone somewhere else the first time they didn't make a cake according to how many people I wanted them too! LOL

I know I need to have some patience... and to relax. I'm definitely trying to. I kind of want to get away from all of them for a few days, all the questions, all the RSVPs, all the everything. But I know we're too close now! I still have to work on programs, out of town boxes, out of town newsletters, centerpieces, groomsmen gifts (we need to wrap them up!) and a bunch of other stuff. I have meetings coming out my butt, a bridal shower coming up and 3 more dress fittings before the big day. Things aren't going to calm down until the night of the 6th of October LOL! (We're opening gifts that morning)

Sometimes if I seem a little bridezilla, I'm sorry I just don't have anywhere to vent!
