With Semi-Formal being the same night that we have to have our luggage outside of our room, does anyone know what time it all has to be out in the hall way.

Susan here is another tip for you. If you bring your own wine on board and you bring it to dinner the wine guy will charge you an uncorking fee. I suggest you uncork it before going to dinner.

I'm still seeing a lot of room availability on our cruise. I wish that I had my room list with me. I could check to see how many of the rooms that were avail when last we checked are still availiable.

Cat's 1,2,3 and 7 are all booked up, otherwise there is still availability in all categories for a family of 4.

I just saw that a person on the main DIS boards just got upgraded cat 12gty to a cat 9 at 23 days out.

Question???

I see that this group is doing a wine tasting? Is that scheduled yet, or how do DH and I get in on that? TIA!

Yes we are having a wine tasting but if my memory serves me right it was Linda that was in charge of it (I think). From what I know a day and time has not yet been picked. You might want to talk to Nancy about it and see what she knows about it.

What does GTY stand for?

Disney allows you to book a room as a Guaranty. Which means that you don't pick a cabin number. In return for your willingness to be placed where ever DCL needs to place you, you have the possibility of being upgraded to a better cabin. A good bet is booking a cabin at the Cat 12GTY level and then hope for an upgrade to something much better. That way you get a great cabin at a great price. Of course, you need to be happy with a cat 12 if you end up there.

Ok that is what I thought it was but I just wanted to make sure. The only cruise I ever did that one was our honeymoon on Carnival. I loved it because we did get upgrade. But then we got put right next to the guest service desk. We never heard noise but there was always a line there when we wanted to get out of our room so we always would go the long way around. All the other cruises my parents have book a cabin number they they wanted or thought that we would want.

Semi-Formal night is Thursday, luggage doesn't have to be put out until 11pm on Friday, which is Castaway Cay day.

Good morning Steve! :wave2:

Good to see you posting a lot these days!! ::yes:: It's getting so exciting now eh? You can feel the energy on the thread :goodvibes

Yes, I'm getting shortimers syndrome at work. I've put off this vacation for too long. And it is a lot of fun to share this excitement with others.
