I am really interested in GC also. I hope that pirate ship is ok........

Also, is the island big enough for the people on the coast to evacuate "inland"?

No, there is nowhere for them to go inland. The island is not that far across.

Plus, it is very flat, so any direct hit by a storm this size would have taken out most of the island.

Put it this way, if it was a direct hit, we probably wouldn't be going there.

Hey, I forgot. It is Formal Night tonight and the Golden Mickey's. Who's dressing up?

Shirts and ties for the guys, Pants suit for Goose, and dresses for the chicks.:cutie:

Not sure if this has been answered, but yes, on Deck 4. I believe it is 1/4 mile.

I took a peek at the Passporter and they say 1/3 mile once around the track.

Paige & Jeff,

Where is everyone tonight. We need to get this going like we did the other night. :thumbsup2

Is there really a Bears fan amongst us? Say it isn't so.:cool1:

Is the DIS running really slow again tonight?

When we lived in Okinawa, we were in quite a few large typhoons, but even though the island was small, it was rocky and the Okinawans know exactly how to build a solid structure. Our house was not pretty, but we've been in 150mph winds without losing cable, internet or power. All the lines were underground. The houses were fortified cinder block (concrete), kind of like bunkers. Rob kept saying, "These typhoons are nothing like hurricanes." We were so well protected that we had to look on TV to see that we were in a strong storm.

So glad I got RoadRunner. I don't see much of a difference.
