I actually have to go do some vaccuming and swiffering. I'll be back lurking later. My DH works evenings. This is a great opportunity to get things done.

Hi Robin
Are you parents in a nursing home, in the same town in which you live, so that they can see them often??
Sorry Robin.
I was typing and didn't realize it had gone over to a new page.
That is such a sad thing. A sundowner, does that have to do w/the medication or just the disease??The next town over, not too far. Trust me... I would love to see them often, but when they're in a sundowner, they treat you like crap or they don't know you. You just don't know what they are going to be like when you get there.
Last week Mike & I had a real nice visit and they were sooo happy to see us. We went Saturday and Dad was coming off of a sundowner, (he hallucinates and thinks everyone is out to get him). Mom just cried and said she wants to go home. She said she'd walk if she has to.
Needless to say, we only stayed for about 20 min. No sense in sticking around if you're just going to take a beating.
We're getting accustomed to it and accept it.![]()
Love - Railroad Tycoon (anyone heard of it?)Ok... let me see what else I can type about. Board games. Yes, that's it.
What board game do you love?
What board game do you hate?
Broccoli or Brussel Sprouts?
Isn't there a walking trail on the ship? Do you know the distance of it?
What did you eat for dinner?

Ours took about the same.
How is your basement? No more flooding I hope.
Congratulate me on my first multi-quote...I'm not PC illiterate, just a message board novice...
Congrats Jen.![]()
