Hi Jeff
Morning all....
Just trying to get caught up on posts....I seem to have missed a lot over the weekend!
We have been having a rainy weekend...rain all day yesterday and it's supposed to rain all day today. So much for trying to make it to the renaissance festival.
I haven't checked on hurricane Dean yet, but I hope it doesn't hit too hard...I really want to go to Grand Cayman. However, if the weather isn't great, I wouldn't care if we spent 7 days at sea! Either way I don't have to cook or clean or go to work for a week!
Cheryl,
Glad to hear you had a great time. And they won - even though it doesn't count.
Hey Lynn and Chris are you lurking here today? Two months from this date at this time we will be in the air flying to Orlando, in fact we will be close to landing![]()

Morning Cheryl.
Make sure you go back and put your AP dinner order in. If you go back a page or two, you should be able to see a link to my original post.
I was going to wait for you and Nancy to put your choices up this morning before I put the PC menu up.
Looks like the hurricaine is turning and will miss Coz and GC. But like Jeff said, anything can happen. Spending most of the time at sea wouldn't kill me though. However, I really dont want to miss CC.
Here's a loser for you, I'm down to 187. 2 lbs from my goal! (85kg with 1kg to go for those of you who are on the metric system.) I'm thinking that I need to revise my goal to less than 185, that way when I gain weight on the cruise I come up to my goal!!!!
Ok I need some advice.
I have 2 reservations for rental cars, 1 with Avis and 1 with Budget. The one with Avis is $30 cheaper than budget. I see a lot of people love to use budget because it is the closest, but is it worth the $30 extra dollars?

Would they let you do 2 soups/salads on AP night? I know they have that all down to a certain timing. Didn't know if that would screw them up.
I didn't say anything last night, but we had a rather bad night.
Mike & I were out buying a digital camera for the cruise and I got a call from my sister saying the nursing home called and said they were taking my Dad to the hospital. He was very dizzy.
So Mike & I met her there. Mike went home after a while and I stayed. They ran tests and everything was fine. We think he is so busy thinking he has to look after my Mom (who is in the same area of the nursing home), that he gets little rest.(Plus alzheimer's patients don't sleep for very long periods of time).
He may just need an adjustment on his blood pressure med. (so he's fine)
So, we took him back to the nursing home at midnight last night.
We went to visit them this afternoon and my Mom was very irritated and mean and my Dad was just coming off of a sundowner. (a phase for alzheimers where they get easily agitated, usually don't no you and begin to hallucinate.)
Needless to say, it wasn't a very good visit. We don't stay long when they are like that because you can't reason with them. They don't understand what you're saying.
Usually a LOT of beer is drunk by some people at those games.![]()
Actually, if she stayed the whole game, it probably ended after 10:00 and then it is a 2 hour drive back down here.
Morning everyone. I am posting from work this morning (shhhhh don't tell my boss) so I will just pretty much being lurking today if I get a chance between patients.
We had a great time at the Packer game last night despite the rain! Ponchos are a wonderful thing! It did stop raining just before half time and then started agian just as teh 3rd quarter was about to start so we left early hoping to beat some of the traffic for the ride home.
We got to talk to Nancy and Chuck briefly and I "met" their son Tony with a wave from our seats. It was nice to see them again!!!
Jeff it was great to see them win especially by such a big amount. I was never a big football fan but Al was explaining things to me AGAIN (he is a huge Packer fan) I am finally gatting the game so it was fun to watch, especially all those touchdowns.
