Were you happy that Rock won? I think he was the better chef, I thought Bonnie wasnt that great a leader (and a big Whiner)

You know, after the first episode I expected him to win--so yeah, I guess I was happy--happy mostly for his darling wife & kids.

Wolfgang is replacing Michael Anthony the Bass player - he is just 15 years old. I am not sure I would want my 15 yeard old kid on a rock tour with David lee Roth:rotfl2:

I loved their music as a teenager - might be a bit of "reliving my youth" to see them again

I'm relieved that he is only 15 years old. I remember his birth and it didn't feel like that long ago. And I am with you, on tour with DLR is probably not the greatest idea.

I've heard about that from a colleague of mine, though I haven't seen the show. With the "global warming" our winter season is getting shorter with the freeze and thaw happening much sooner than normal, the companies are unable to do as much trucking as they used too.

Since you enjoyed that show, you should see the trucks that work up at the oilsands.

Here's an article about them:

DH scott here, Thanks for the pic Rob. Being down here in AZ, it is hard to imagine ice thick enough to drive heavy trucks over.

Another odd question: have you or Cass ever driven highway 1 from Calgary to Kamloops or Vancouver? I seems like a very senic drive.

Just helping Jeff out again as he's got a busy day today.

"What's the funniest thing you ever saw on a Disney Ship or, if you are first-timers, the funniest thing you ever saw on Disney grounds."

Mine had to be the time I saw a lady standing in the disembarkation line in her husbands shoes, and a nightie. Her DH was competely dressed but it looks like someone forgot to leave some travel clothes out of her suitcase for the next day. He was just smiling away and she was wearing a "Bitter Beer Face". :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

DH scott here... This is not the funniest thing I saw, due to the fact I was only 2 or 3 years old. But I bet everyone who saw, and those involved, thought it was funny. My whole family (Aunts,Uncles,Grandparents,) went to DL back in the early 70's. The whole group opted to take the canoes around Tom Sawyer's Island. The group was split into 2 canoes and each had 2 instructors (1 front, 1 back). Half way through the trip around the Island my dad splashed my uncle, in turn my uncle splashed someone else. Needless to say it turned into a big splashfest with the paddles. Well not to be out done, the other half of my family (in other canoe) saw the fun of splashing eachother, which lead to a battle between both canoes. Mind you that there were still the CMs on the canoes. Well after the whole thing was over and everyone docked the CMs turned to my family and told them "Thank you for visiting Disneyland, and if you come back, please do not come back as a group.":rotfl: :rotfl:

Very funny story.....do you remember it at all or just heard the story so many times?

has anyone checked our cruise availablility lately? I show that there are cabins still available in nearly every category. Looks like there may be opportunity for upgrades at the port!

I just went to travelocity.com as it shows you which rooms are still available - we are in a category 4 adn there are only 4 left of it - and they are all right up at the bridge (not my preferred location).

There are quite a few rooms in the mid levels like category 6 and 8.

so I am going to the American Idol tour this evening with vanessa. Has anyone been to one of thier tours before? Is it any good?

I will have to get shirts for the kids - as they love the show and are a bit miffed that I wasnt taking them as well

Definately Donald Duck and the way he mucks about. On one of Rick's videos at the Tropicalifragilistic Deck Party, he falls flat on his face. Rick has a chuckle when he sees that.

Anyone not seen out two videos:

DH scott here...Tell the grumpy old sod that I loved his video, and the narration by Dave was great. What a funny mate:rotfl:

I'll have to check out travelocity. If I were to upgrade cat 6 would be the one that I'd want.

The funiest thing we saw was last year when we were walking back to the Magic on the pier in Cozumel and there were 3 people walking, no the more appropriate word would be staggering, down the pier carrying multiple gigantic"drinking" glasses each. The Carnival ship that docks right across from the Magic was pulling in their lines and anchors and these 3 were saying how they had hours yet until their ship sailed. As we turned the corner on the pier they noticed their ship was getting ready to leave and they started shouting "don't leave without us" and running. They were quite a sight to see running down the pier :lmao: . This doesn't sound very funny but seeing it was quite hilarious!!!

Cheryl and Rachel

It DOES sound funny Cheryl. I would have loved to see that!!:lmao:

Sorry Scott, I missed you. I'm working a stretch of days and it's always hit and miss with me. I'll come on and catch up then get back to work. At home I try not to spend too much time on the computer as the kids and Laura miss me.
Have Fun!:thumbsup2

Scott here, understandable. Everyone was in bed at my house and that is the time I get on. Oh the joys of being a nightowl.

Hope work is quite for you

Is the DIS running slower than M O L A S S E S today??? :confused3

Very funny story.....do you remember it at all or just heard the story so many times?

Scott here, Sorry I forgot to see if anyone else is on. I was mowing the front and back yards and my brain fried a little (90 degrees and 47% humidity). I have been catching up from earlier posts from this morning.

I hase on the sidelines and do not recall it but I have heard it so many times, and the pics are great to.
