We left Milwaukee July 4th and made it to Tahoe July 8th. We spent a week in Tahoe and San Francisco then started back to WI. We were gone 20 days and it was great, but at time challenging with 6 people together for that amount of time. We have 1700 photos, don't worry I won't post them all. I want to post pictures of all who will be on the cruise so you can see us all.

Passporters are a series of guides about the Disney parks or cruises. They are written by Disney Nuts like ourselves so that they tend to focus on the Disney experience that we all want when we vacation with Disney. They are pretty complete and will help you plan every step of your trip. The Passporters also have a folio version that is a loose leaf binder that can have the pages updated and envelopes to help you organize the various peices of data that you collect. When we went to WDW I used the passporter exclusively and found it to have really enhanced our trip. For the cruise I have used it and Birnbaums to help me plan.

Are these available just at bookstores or what? That is very interesting. Most of the great thngs you learn are from regular people like us.

Awww... I hope Mike is better quickly! I do have to say that seeing the falls always does something to me. It is so hard to believe that something so powerful and deadly can be so beautiful and calming. Like the beach or the grand canyon... Reminds me of that song, I hope you dance.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites. Many of the falls pics I took were from our room window. You could feel the roar of the falls.

Is there a picture 2 class to learn to make the pictures a little smaller? I don't really know how to get mine smaller... and they seem to be bigger than everyone else's here.... if you have already done this class I will be more than happy to refer myself to that page...lol

Well I am off for the night. Go ahead, post 17 pages while I watch tv and prepare for tomorrow. See if I care... I still have 75 pages to go to read what I missed when I was gone. I should take a speed reading class and I could practice right here on this board.

But who has time. I have two classes in the morning so my butt won't be dragging back into the house or office until the sun is at its worst....

Has anyone ever been the first one onto the ship or in through the gates of a Disney Park???????????

I have not. So fear not, no great story here. Maybe I should try to get to the terminal like really early and be the first through the doors and the first onto the ship. Do they give you a number or something if you are really early? When we went on last time they were already boarding so we didn't wait or anything....I don't even know what they have at the terminal thingy. Someone said they have a gift shop... I didn't see anything but the line going in.

Thank Cass....i could not find a good family picture (that is why I had to send one with my Mom in it). Objetive 1 for the cruise - get a couple of good family pictures.

I know they do give boarding numbers. But you'll be in the first group anyway since you're in a cat 2.

We were second on the Wonder when we sailed it. We were either first or second in line (can't remember), but Suz wanted to stop for the picture (we took longer than the other people). So, we would have been first. This was under the old boarding process.

Under the new boarding process, unless you are Cat 1-3 or handicapped, the lowest number you will get is 2. So, you won't be the first on the ship unless you fall in one of the other groups above.

The terminal's shop is very small so not much to do there, but if you get there early, you can get a seat in the waiting area (DCL has too few seats). They have cartoons running on tv's. There is a model of the ship to look at and the characters do come out for pictures. You can go out on a deck and look at the actual ship as well.

How is everyone tonight? Summer is winding down fast isn't it? My Katie starts kindergarten in just 2 weeks! Amazing!

How many of you are "dressing up" for Pirate night? Still trying to decide what to do. DH is not interested in participating, so he'll wear his tropical shirt that night. I'm thinking the girls & I will wear pirate themed t-shirts. Can we wear shorts that night in the dining room?

While she was playing this morning, Kira stopped to look at the TV (I have it on but she rarely watches it) and The Wiggles came on. They are a children's dancing/singing troupe from Australia...she watched for about 30 seconds and then........she started to DANCE!!!!!!!!!!

I rewound the 1 minute clip three times and she danced every time! I got the third time on video...

Right after this, Rob sent me a link to an article about how TV is really bad for kids and that it teaches them nothing!!! I told him "I beg to differ, our girl just learned how to dance by watching the Wiggles on TV!!"
