Hello people, everyone get what they wanted?.....:)

We got what we wanted, except the Palo Brunch. We'll try once we get on the boat.
So you have failed to mention, will we be seeing you on any of our excursions, what kinds of things did your family want to do???:confused3

Were kinda shoot from the hip people and won't decide until the very last second "oh let's go here".....The only thing so far is Horse riding Don't worry all you animal lovers out there unless they have one of these
horse-1.gif
It will be the girls only,Banana boat thiers something else but as Ive been up since 4.00am my mind is starting to shut down....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

ps...Where are the cheeky girls..:confused3

Its a holiday here in Canada today, so Cass was able to sleep in this morning and she'll be DIS'ing later this afternoon most likely.
I get to pack... again.

Now that all the ressies are taken care of (hopefully) what else do you and your family have left to do before the cruise?

Get travel medical insurance.
Order Rob's Tux.
Get Dis Tag gifts sorted.
Get travelers cheques.
Figure out a time to meet up with B & J!
Pack!

Well congrats to those of you who were able to book excursions and whatnot last night.

I got through to WDW dining right at 6AM this morning and got three of the four F&W events that I wanted and just dropped about $500...

I was originally told that the other event I wanted was sold out but upon further investigation it turns out that the restaurant in Japan isn't slated to open until mid-September so they're not booking the Sake / Sushi pairings yet.

Seemed kind of odd to me that that pairing would have sold out so quickly.

So... woo hoo for the most part! :yay:

Glad you got what you want Brenda! Hopefully they figure out the Japan thing and you get that pairing too!! :woohoo:

Thanks Cass - those are all tough gigs to get with so many people calling as soon as the phone lines open (or, if they are like me they start speed dialing a couple of minutes early... ;) ).

We were lucky this morning, so if we aren't able to land the pairing in Japan I won't complain. I'm sure I can find a place to spend that extra $100... the new tequilla bar that's being opened in the Mexico pavillion perhaps? :lmao:

A quickie for the stealth girls,Can you see any of the fireworks from the Dolphin hotel balcony rooms..:confused3

I don't know for sure since I've never stayed there, but I would think if your room was on a high enough floor and situated just the right way that you would be able to see some of the higher fireworks from Illuminations. But most of the action takes place at water level in Epcot, so it's hard to see much.

Our room at the BCV was on the 2nd floor last year and it faced the back side of Epcot near England and the International Gateway... we could hear the music with no trouble but could only see a very few fireworks.

Just stay at the damn Swolphin so that it's easier for you to meet Jay and me for some booze. And it will be easier to get a cab to V&A for your ladies!

Morning all...

Been a busy weekend and crazy at work too so I can't catch up on all the posts I missed this weekend.

Looks like my TA did not pay Disney yet or waited until the last minute. (Very ticked!!!!) Can anyone tell me if the Pirate Excursion is all booked yet??????

TIA!

Jen:eek: :scared:

Update: My payment finally posted this afternoon, and I was able to get my very important Pirate Encounter ressie! So happy!  :cheer2: pirate:

Errrr.... isn't that a gin-based beverage? You can have the Pimms...I'll find something else to blurr the edges of reality. :lmao:

BTW, I'm not all-knowing....I'm just very opinionated. ;)

Just got of my Lazy buttocks and find this .... :dance3:

"Of the two...definitely the Dolphin! I LOVE the views it offers, especially the EPCOT area, with the BC/YC and BWI visible. The illuminations show every eve is spectacular from the Dolphin. If you stand on a balcony, you can actually HEAR all the music, etc."

ps...Shall i keep this a secret,or carry on letting them think were staying in the cleaners cupboard for the week?....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

We don't like gin... any martinis we drink are vodka based. And we might try something but that doesn't mean we'll finish it (Jay will... sometimes).

I'd be happy with a few Kir Royales, especially if we meet up on the 17th... a few of those before the hubby whisks me off for a birthday dinner at Bistro Paris would hit this old Crohn right over the head! ;)

Brenda love that's unfair i never said you had a back end the size of a horse did i?,as for the drinking i was more on the lines of a lash up at the Rose and crown followed by a sing song of old shanty songs on the way back to our respective bunks....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I booked with AAA....my TA has an email waiting for her when she gets in to work at 8:30. I'm going to call too.

I just looked at my online banking...I gave AAA my check on July 30 and they JUST cashed it on Friday the 3rd.

3 minutes until I can call them....

Can anyone check the Pirate encounter for me???? Pretty please???

Jen

Dh scott here, You do not want to compare AAA war stories with Carrie. We feel for you. Good Luck
