(it was 1972 and I was 17... then is was only the Magic Kingdom)

Hi everybody

I thought I'd post some recent photos from Ellis' Beaver Scout 100 years ceremony and our day out at Drayton Manor theme park.

Ellis on a kiddie coaster

We went on a ferris wheel

While Daddy went on this

Neil is the one nearest in the stripey white and navy top

He's upside down and they stop the ride ...............for fun

We got just to the top of the ferris wheel as Daddy came round on his ride so we managed to get quite a good shot

ok, onto the Scout event

one hundred kids were given a balloon to release for the 100 years of the scouting movement - Ellis got chosen - he was chuffed

then they released them!

heres the crowd - there were a lot there

I took this photo of the sunset as we were walking home through the park. This is only about 5 mins walk from my house - an enormous park and woodlands just on the outskirts of Birmingham which is a very built up city. I like the way the clouds are reflected in the water.
