As for Julie Chen, I believe she is married to a CBS executive. That would explain why she gets the gig. (this is where those other smileys from that board would come in handy)

Yep, just checked IMDB, she is married to Leslie Moonves, President of CBS.

Amber is definately not the sharpest stick. She was definately the weakest link and both sides exploited her. I'm tired of her already. As for Julie Chen, I noticed that she made a mistake but at 330 in the morning I did not catch exactly what she did. I've always thought that she was lame and wish they would get someone with more personality.

Don't look now, but the Brewers still suck, the Cubs are sucking too and the Cards are now only 5.5 games out of first. Maybe another backdoor season in the the NL Central.

my step-father was born and raised in Sandusky... he's a huge fan of the Tribe. Jay and I always root for them by default (as long as it doesn't run counter to the Redbirds' interests). actually I was thinking a Milwaukee / Cleveland world series would be kinda fun... two years in a row where the media giants would be forced to cry into their beer because no "marketable" team would be playing in the fall classic.

bah! real baseball fans watch the series as long as it's good baseball. so there!

Because I am planning this computerized show for this year, I am already working on my Christmas display. I've been renovating the NOEL sign and working on the sequencing.

Thanks. There are some pretty spectacular houses on my street. I try to Improve a bit every year. Actually, my goal is to stomp into submission the previous owner of my house. The local paper still prints photos of his display everytime they mention Christmas Tree Ln.

Yes, I have known that for years. The very first year BB came on, after about 3-4 episodes into it, I was like...what??? This chick must be sleeping with the head honcho or something. Rob laughed when I told him that she actually WAS! Anyone ever watch the first season? Boy did she EVER suck!!!

Had a good evening shopping. Found a black skirt for Mackenzie for pirate night. $2.00. Then I found her some black dress shoes for the cruise and then some not so dressy black shoes for possible pirate and any other time she wants to wear them. Only problem is I did not try them on her. She is a little pill tonight, so I told DH he can try them on her tomorrow and we can return them if need be. But the skirt did fit so I am excited about that.
