O.K., last MENSA question, I promise.

It is nice in real life, but it's much easier on paper. Can you go from POOR to RICH in seven steps, changing one letter at a time, and making a good English word each time? (There are several solutions.)

I'm not sure, this pic was taken on the bridge by the CM as the Magic was sailing through the Panama Canal, she needed to get permission from the captain in order for me to post it. This pic was cropped and of course reduced in size in order for me to use it as a avatar.

Good Morning Jeff, I am feeling better this morning, thanks for asking.

I will be leaving here around 8:30 to go see the doc, then most likely will be on my way to work after that. I'm holding off taking the med Lyrica, the one that makes me groggy, until lunchtime, then I will take it again before going to bed tonight.

I remember taking pain meds for my back and if I took anything early or mid day, I was toast.

I just went through the day on Ibu or Tylenol and saved the heavy stuff until I got home.

A CM friend took that photo during the first Panama Canal repo cruise in May 2005. The CM sent it to me and I have been using it as my avatar ever since.

Thank you, we were trying to figure out the green background, instead of having water in the background. It is very nice. I like it.

Just a quick update:

Good news and bad news from my visit to the doc today. Good news is the Shingles rash is healing nicely and I "CAN" return to work tomorrow, bad news is, one of the side effects from the Lyrica is possible weight gain. Well, I gained 8 pounds since last Monday, like "I" need to gain weight.......

I go back in a little over two weeks to see the doc for my next follow-up visit. He also gave me another scrip for a 30 day supply of Lyrica. I wish I didn't have to take this, but I need it to help keep the burning sensation at a minimum. Oh, the joys of aging..........

That's great. Glad to hear it's clearing up.

As for the weight gain, there are a few people on this thread (myself included) who are trying to lose weight before our cruise. Make it your goal to take the weight gain off by the time we sail.
