I know, it LOOKS like a typo, and actually I figured one of you would ask me about it. I call Kira my "pincess" (sounds like princess but with a lisp) A couple of hours after she was born, I started singing to her..."Petty (pretty with a lisp) petty pincess, petty petty pumpkin" I did this for months and she loved it I don't know where I got it from, it just came out after I set my eyes on her. I must have drove the lady beside me nuts, she never ONCE talked to her newborn, whereas I sang and talked to Kira ALL the time


Karen, awesome pics! Thanks for a lovely tour of your beautiful home! I love the street, is it cobblestone? That is so cool! And no wonder you munch on that nephew of yours C-U-T-E!!!!

Hello fellow DIS travelors!!!


My name is Sandy, and this is my first Disney cruise
I am traveling with my DH, and my 2 girls who are 4 & 9


I normally hang out on The Community Board, and it's been fun coming to this board to help plan our trip I have a question for all of you - Are you flying in the day before the cruise, or the same day as the cruise? We are currently flying in the same day, but I'm starting to think this isn't a good idea with the shuttle scheduled to launch that day. What do you all think?

Hi Sandy. I'm Lori traveling with DH, DD10 and DD4. Sounds like we have somethings in common!!! We are flying in on Thursday.

Great pictures, Karen, I love the crown molding that accents the tops of your walls. I think the back yard looks better w/out the trees. Thanks for sharing.

That's great. Glad to hear it's clearing up.

As for the weight gain, there are a few people on this thread (myself included) who are trying to lose weight before our cruise. Make it your goal to take the weight gain off by the time we sail.

Since never been on a Disney Cruise before, it's not a show, but the looks on my kids faces when we step onboard will be a moment not to forget. We will all be in AWE.
As far as shows I would say the Pirate Night & Fireworks.

I'm with you. The show I can't miss will be played across my kids faces. If you see me and I'm having difficulty talking, it's because I will be too choked up with emotion.

I will have to agree with both of you. I can not wait to see my DD face when we get to the terminal and she sees how big the ship is, and then when we actually get to walk into the ship is another one I want to see. I think the whole cruise will be like this with her facial expressions. I much rather see that then any show.

We are flying in the day before. But we are staying at the airport hotel. So now I am wondering if that is even a good idea to do.
