IO have made Neil takeEllis to a swimmng birthday party this afternoon. I promised I'd do the ironing and cleaning while he was gone:rolleyes1

He hadnt even pulled of the drive when I was at the pc and I havent moved since:rotfl2:

I'll just squirt the furntiure polish in the air and pretend I've done it:lmao:

We just got back from Sam's Club and I let Chuck put everything away while I DISed. I just yelled back, Do you need any help? Reply: Not anymore:rolleyes1

Good job Chuckie Poo.:cheer2:

Gotta go Nancy - I have to at least iron the outfit I want to wear tonight:rolleyes:

Have fun posting. - I dont mind being in 3rd place:goodvibes

Well, since you asked for one:

If you could pick one DISer from our thread (so a KKer) to have as your tablemate for the cruise, who would it be and why? (you can not pick anyone you are traveling with or who you already have ressies with)

Note: Everyone here would be fun to dine with, this is just a question of if you could only pick ONE person, who would it be. Please, no hard feelings if you don't get picked by anyone. It is just a fun question. Plus, I'm sure everyone will pick me anyways. :rotfl:

My answer to yesterday's question: St. Lucia and Antigua. I'm tired of St. Maarten and really don't need to go there again. St. Thomas would be o.k., just for the fact that we'd do Trunk Bay on St. John. The boat sails slower than full speed on the Eastern (19 knots vs. 23 knots) so I think if they speed it up, we could make those islands. St. Lucia looks really beautiful and Antiqua has beach for every day of the year (365). Not sure if St. Lucia would be a stretch to get to or not, but Antigua would be doable.

We did these posts last September and would definately like to go back. Especially Antigua as the whole island is really beautiful and I missed shopping! :lmao:

Table mate - it would have to be someone with an interest in scrapping..so perhaps Nancy? Or all the Girls and we could have a really good giggle and a b**** about the boys.

Heather

Karen,

About your intermittant internet drops. I agree that the wireless phones can cause interference. If you are using DSL for internet service, then make sure that ALL phone lines in the house have filters. This includes all phones, TIVO/DVR units, and alarm systems. All of these will interfere with a DSL line.

Cheryl, Glad to see that you did the catch up/laundry thing in the right order. I on the other hand, ran some errands while the kids slept in, caught on the DIS and now I'm going to do some laundry. :laundy: Mark will never know, he's busy at work, he so loves to give me a hard time.
Jeff, Cheryl, & Nancy, Once again, we had a great time meeting everyone last night, the drive home was not too bad, next time we'll have to do it when Mark doesn't have to be up for work 2 hrs after arriving home.:scared1:
If you guys think that another DIS meet is in the plans before going, just let us know, it's not that far to travel. We would love to see everyone again, & if it would work for Judy, Victoria and others we would love to meet them also.
83 days, DD says. This is going to be sooooo much fun.
As far as Jeff's question, I would have to say a UK family. I just love the way that they talk. On this board, they just crack me up. :lmao:
Have a good day everyone, I really have to get to my laundry, it's calling my name.

Awwww Heather, I'm truly flattered, but you may mean someone else. I've never scrapbooked so I'm thinking you may mean my Wisconsin counterparts like Cheryl or Suz? But I do agree that dining with all the KK Chicks would be a riot!:yay:

Janice, both Chuck (No-Legs) and I had a great time last night too. I never realized that it went for 3 hours. I'm kind of surprised we didn't get kicked out although when the worker came to clean off tables in our area that were never used seemed a little obvious. :rotfl2:

You'd be willing to travel another 3+ hours just to see us again? Jeff had a great idea of going a little more south to include Victoria and Judy this time.

Don't you think we just all got along so well, like we were old friends? (Well, I don't mean "old" except for me, but more like longetime friends.)

This will be one amazing cruise! :cheer2:

Beefcake, When you have that picture developed can you make 3 extra copies for us please?:flower3:

UK'ers, any plans for a UKDISmeet before leaving home for the cruise? Do any of you live close to each other?:confused3

Mark & I said the same thing, it just seemed so natural to sit and visit, like we had known it other for years. Everyone was so easy to talk to. I think we could have talked longer, but I knew that Mark's alarm would be ringing not long after we got home. i'm serious about another meet, if it worked for some of the others, we would try our best to make it also.:cheer2:

No,as Jess says "Dad if they were to meet you BEFORE the cruise would they still go?"...I felt that a little Harsh If not an honest appraisal...:rolleyes1

Nancy have you sent a $10 bill to the save the elephant fund yet?...:rolleyes1

I think we all live a little too far away from one another unfortunately.

For those scrapbookers amoungst us...anyone fancy a scrap bag swap?

We could combine it with the Distag and deliver the bag to the relevant cabin that we swap with. We would set a limit $$$ wise and we could set a theme for the bags?

What do you think? Let me know and if there is enough interest, I could co-ordinate it.

Heather, I am a HUGE scrapbooker and there are always tons of scrap swaps over on the SB board, but I tend to stay away from them. Maybe I am just a stick in the mud but my thinking is that if I want something made, I can just do it, instead of getting something that maybe just isn't my style ya know?

Some of the ladies have posted pics of what they got in swaps and a lot of it was not really stuff I would actually use. Not that it wasn't good, just not for me.

My sister's mum-in-law was just over from Wigan (I think?) and they went SB shopping here. SHe said that there's hardly anything over in the UK for SBing. She was in her own little heaven when she was shopping here. :cloud9:

Well, seeing that there are so many scrappers here, I had better be seeing some finished Disney scrapbooks after we all get home!!! ::yes::

I have done two DCL albums already so I am not sure if I will be scrapping our trip this time.

I'm so far behind in my scrapping, not sure what I am gonna do. I started a digital SB of Kira and I did like 8 or 9 pages and then lost interest. I just don't have the time anymore. But maybe after we move it will be better since I am putting my desk in Kira's play room. :woohoo:

Ever since I started digital scrapping, I find it hard to go back and do the regular sbing. I haven't bought any SB supplies in almost 2 years now and I want all the knew stuff now but it's so expensive. where did I put that lottery ticket again ?
