Avery is off to her first week of Summer Camp - its called Camp Capers. Its really an intro to day camping. They play sports, do crafts, have theme days (like tomorrow is Pajama Day and Friday is Hawaii Day). It will be a lot of fun - she goes to school full time so she will adjust quickly but most schools are only half-day at her age so those kids sometimes have trouble adjusting to being away from home all-day. Spencer was nice enough to go to this specific camp for one week to help her adjust. But in the future he will go to camps like Golf Camp and Soccer Camp while she will stay back at Camp Capers.

I wish I could go to camp!

How did she do at camp? Did she love it?

I don't even know if it is still there or not, but my favorite Disney restaurant was the one that was in the Pirates of the Carribean at Disneyland. It could be only that it was the first real restaurant I remember going to at Disney and it seemed so neat to be sitting there when the ride was going past me and I knew that they were wondering who was eating there. I can't even recall the food. But it was magical to me.

Oh a real person!! woohoo.

And that is great that it is still there! Is the food good? Has anyone gone? If I plan a trip to Disneyland (my kids have never been to California...) I'm going to book it.

OK so I thinking that I will buy by MNSSHHP tickets soon as I am a worry wart and I am afraid they will sell out on Thursday October 18th.

I have been to the Disney world web site and it will cost $280 USD for the 6 tickets (my Mother will come with the 5 of us as she lives in Florida for the winter and will pick us up at the airport and take us to WDW).

Is there a better way to get the tickets that might save a few bucks or basically I just have to bite the bullet and buy them online?

I don't know of any other way to get them but directly from the park via e-mail or phone call. Whatever you're going to do, I suggest you hurry!!! These special events tend to sell out quickly!!!!!

Mine, of course, is Tinkerbell.

Mine would be Belle - as much as I love Disney Princesses - too often they arent strong characters. Belle was the first one to be a smart, strong woman. Of course, Mulan took it up another layer so I love her too - but I loved Belle first.

How did she do at camp? Did she love it?

She did very well - she had a lot of fun playing. She is very excited about today as she is having Pajama day at the camp - she was just giggling that she was wearing her PJs outside of the house.

She has been going to school full time since she was 3 so I knew she could handle it - at first she couldnt understand what they would do all day if they werent doing math or language. now I am worried I might have trouble putting her back in school in September (LOL)

Good evening everyone!!!

Just touching base between swim lessons, baseball practice and bath time!

Just wanted to share a quick story with you. Lori and I and are families are huge fans of the MNSSHP and were very disappointed that we were not going to be able to go this year (as Friday, October 19th is the only Friday they are not having it!!! ) Anyway.....because we were suffering so.....withdrawals and all.......we actually called the airline to see how expensive it would be to change our flights on Thursday to an earlier time (so that we could possibly make the Thursday night party). Well, of course it was a ridiculous $100.00 per person charge to make a change....mind you, only a time change....... Needless to say, we forgot all about that. No MNSSHP for us this year......

But wait........I get to work this a.m. and there is an urgent message in my mailbox from Expedia.com about our flight???? WHAAAAA????? So I call them and they say "I'm sorry Mrs. Medley but your flight has been cancelled. To accommodate this we would like to move you to another flight on the same day!!!!!!!" Naturally, I'm doing the happy dance all over my office...........I'm getting my flight moved up earlier in the day for FREEEEEEEEE!!!!! So, in the end, all 11 of us got our flight changed to arrive in Orlando at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday Oct. 18th!!!! And needless to say, our MNSSHP tickets have been ordered and should be arriving in the mail in 7-10 days!!!!!!!

How cool is that!!! I told Lori that someone was watching out for us and wanted us to be able to take the kids to the party!!!!!!WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR................................................................... :think: :tinka: :tinka:

An F.O. is an F.O. if you take the first post of a new page,failure to claim said F.O. can result in you being fined ONE D.O.T.D while aboard payable to the fat bloke on deck 10 ,an S.F.O is something rarely seen here it's a stolen F.O. one were someone deliberty targets your F.O.,we do have someone who in the past has stolen people's F.O.'s when this has happened to me i just mutter under my breath F.U... i just smile and try to get the next one....
