We are happy today as we put our remaining balance on our Disney Visa today. If if wasn't for this dumb roof we would have it paid off by now. Oh well, we are still going and that's all that matters. Cheers!!!

It feels so good when you pay it off! I was doing a serious happy dance when I called in my final payment! Good for you!

We too used our Disney Visa, paid the entire cruise that way. Love them reward points!

That reminds me, does anyone know if you use for Disney Visa for all your onboard expenses do they give you the 0% financing for 6 months on that as well. I have a feeling that they DON'T, but I thought I would ask.

No, I think it's just offered on the pre-planning part. We used our card at WDW in May for our purchases, and was not offered any financing on that part of the trip. Nice idea though! Saves having to pay off your trip for a longer while!

By the way, I noticed you have a son starting kindergarten this year. I have a daughter starting this year too. She loved Pre-K and asks, almost every day, when it's time to go back. She can't wait.

Yes, my son starts kindergarten this fall. He too loved preschool, but he seems a little unsure how this "real" school thing. Our school district just switched to all-day kindergarten so I'm a little sad too. (o.k.--a lot sad!!)
He and I are both happy though that older brother Teddy will be in 5th grade at the same school.

Look for me on September 5th--I will be the despondant mother whose youngest has gone off and left me for school. A couple of my girlfriends who are in the same situation and I plan on having drinks right after we drop the kids off. I'm thinking bellinis and mimosas, but it might have to be something stronger!!

Ok... we are picking up my nephews in Jacksonville, Florida so we will leave from there in the morning. We are Category 2 so I think we don't have as long of a wait.

Word of caution, if you plan on driving down from Jacksonville that morning, plan on leaving very early if the "unmentionable event" is taking place just north of Port Canaveral. I'd suspect there will be tons of traffic from all directions.
