Susan,

I am one that promotes Tuesday night as the best night to go to Palo for dinner. You just went through all the restaurants once (and the show in AP is only the first night if that is the restaurant you had on Sat), Pirate Night is Wed, Semi-Formal/Captain's Gala is Thur, and the last night with your tablemates and servers is Friday (which will be your 3rd time in the restaurant you skipped on Tues). Plus, I personally don't like the menu on Tues - Master Chef.

Brunch is excellent. You get more than just breakfast stuff. They have some special meat dishes as well. I like a couple of different things from their offerings and asked if I could do my own dish. They accomodated and when the people around me saw what I had, they wanted to order it that way as well.

We did Tea once. Suz drinks tea, I don't. I went with so she wasn't alone. I didn't care much for the food/snacks they served, but Suz liked it. We probably won't do tea again. But, if the ladies get a tea together, Suz may join you.

Hope that helps.

BTW, we have skipped Palo dinner the last cruise and won't be booking it again this time either. Even though it is great, the experience seems to be the same everytime. Suz just wants to eat in the restaurants instead. We may go to Topsiders on Tuesday to try that out (they do a modified sit down I believe now in the evenings).

I was going through the decision process on the best night for Palos and I also came up with Tuesday. My concern is that everyone is going to use the same logic and come up with Tuesday and it will be impossible to get a reservation that night

Anyone able to guess if I am going to have problems on August 6th or not?

Forgive my ignorance but why is it cold there? Is it your fall or winter? Here it is summer and blistering heat everywhere right now!:scared:

It is in the northern hemisphere, just like us, so they would be in the middle of summer right now.

Yes i am still reading way, way back... How early can we board?

Usually around 11:30-11:45. Be sure to be on board early that day.

As of right now, there is a little special event taking place just north of port on the coast. We are not mentioning it here because we don't want to jinx it and have it moved or cancelled.

I thought it was suppose to take place close to 1:00 p.m., but I can't find the time listed anywhere right now. Doesn't matter, we're staying by the coast the night before and the ship isn't sailing until 5:00. We'll be there all day.

I will bet that even if you don't get it online, if you go to Rockin' Bar D as soon as you board (make sure you are in Group 2), you will be able to get whatever night you want. Rumor has it they leave a certain number of reservations open for on-board booking.

Good luck.

I'll trade ya a little A/C for a little faster internet.:rotfl2:

Bad move Disney, bad move.:sad2:

Hmmm...no fank you :sad2: I couldn't live without my DSL....and I can always go sit in my Highlander ::yes:: Sorry I am greedy when it comes to broadband....:rolleyes1

oooh, another DIS meet perhaps?

Heather

Sounds good to me!! I could actually fly in the day of the cruise instead having to waste a whole day just for travel :rolleyes1 I know I shouldn't talk with all your Ukers around

The web site I found refers to a 12:50pm Launch on October 20th

Thansk for the TIP - if I dont get one on line that will be myback up plan

Does anyone know anyone who got married on Castaway Cay??

We arent married yet - we keep talking about it but then the wedding BS gets involved and we hold off.

Maybe I can get it done on Castaway Cay on our next cruise.

or does anyone know anyone who got married at WDW itself - this sounds great but might be a bit over the top for us - we are more reserved people than that?

People must be busy at work today as there isnt much posting going on....

so here is a question:

- who has been to the most Disney theme parks??

I have only been to 1 but I am sure there are lots who have been to 2. Has anyone been to 3?? more?

is WDW Paris any good?

Just to clarify on DIStag. That is 16 total, so you bring 15 gifts unless, of course, you wish to tag me twice!!:yay:

ATTENTION EVERYONE - join our DIS TAG game - its fun and will be a hoot for the kids to get prepare for and to enjoy throughout the cruise

princess: I dont know if we can hit 1000 pages today at this rate - we need lots of talking if we are going to do it by today or tomorrow

:wizard:

well - I wonder if I can pull it off - my own page - number 984 I think.

Whenever I have tried in the last , someone replies at the last second

lets see what happens
