The boxes did look a little closer than I remembered putting them , one was even on top of the other

Here's a question for everyone:

What is the worst gift you ever received?

For my 40th birthday I received a windshield wiper delay device from Chuck's youngest brother and his wife. But, in their defense, they did get me another gift that same birthday. It was one, I repeat one, car mat.

I had a grey elephant soap off my sister in law once - what do you think she was trying to tell me? - I'm a fat stinky elephant I guess

Construction began on the new roof today.

The only good thing is there are about 8 really buff half naked men running around my yard/roof all day long!

Oooooohhhhh! - nice! I have tree surgeons cominbg tomorrow - I'm praying for very hot weather so they have to strip off

I've updated the food reviews with some more stuff from the Chef's Table if anyone wants to check it out.

And finally folks.... my mother - the miserable one - is FINALLY coming to see our new home today. She has put it off day after day and has finally got bullied into it by Ellis last night on the phone. We had a big arguement on moving day - she said loads of hurtful stuff and I gave a bit back too for once. We have barely spoken since...geez... I'm so lucky to have a mother like mine

I bet she wont even say its nice. She'll probably sit herself on the first sofa she sees and wont move til its time for me to take them back home again. She's in "mega sulk" mode at the moment accompanied by "lets ignore my daughter and only talk to my grandson" mode. Geez, I'm soooo looking forward to this afternoon
