WISCONSIN Roll Call!!!

Where are you all? Jeff, Janice, Cheryl, Judy, Victoria, and those faux KK'ers, Kristin, Jesse, Tony, Stacy??

:confused3

I'm spent, you guys exhaust me with all your posting this morning. I need a break. :cat:

Here's a couple of questions for my UK friends.

I saw a lot of the flooding in England on the news this week. Gloucester (?)in particular. Any of you live near there? Do you all live near each other? Were you affected by the floods? Is that great big yellow ball in the sky still lurking?

Yellow ball...:lmao: :lmao: Nancy love i went some 6 hours after it arrived...:sad2:

This may help as to where peps are..

Am above the "C" in Manchester but below York (home of the gods united)......:lmao: :lmao:

Help

My PM box is 96% full. How do I delete messages from there. I did not see a delete bottun.

I'm not pretending. I spent the day on Monday with Tony in the hospital. We had a little scare with him, but hopefully further tests will calm us all down. We'll know more after Aug 20th.

IS everything ok. If you need to talk you can PM me. I will put some prayers out for him and the family.

Scott was wanting to know the same about the flooding so I am sure he will like to see the map. Thanks for posting it.

Carrie,

Just place the cursor over the white box on the far right hand side of the message. Click and you'll get a check mark. Do that for every message you want to delete.

Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the drop down menu. Choose "delete" and then ok. All checked messages will delete then.

That will take care of your Received messages. On the left of the screen click on the white arrow for Private messages, then Sent msgs. Do the same for the ones you want to delete there. That should take care of your full messge box.

Rob collects as much as Star Wars stuff as his wife allows him to :lmao:

His most prized possession...

His Clone Trooper Armour

Rob is the Yellow Clone Trooper...these were taken at the Calgary Stampede on kids day a couple of weeks ago. He's such a big kid himself, he loves playing around with the kids ;)

That is the coolest thing. I'd love to have stormtrooper armor!

on the right hand side there are boxes - just check the messages that you want to delete - then scroll to the bottom and you will see a spot where I says "move to folder" or something like that - if you click on the drop down near that spot - you will get other options. One option is to Delete.

Select delete and the messages that you checked off will delete.

Hi Nancy

Hope Tony is ok?

that big yellow shiny ball went away and was replaced by our very familiar sight - rain clouds:sad2:

Not sure about Lindy Loo - she lives in Wiltshire, dont know what her area is like - i hope she's ok. Our garden is soggy to the extreme and we cant walk on half the garden but apart from that we're ok. About an hour from us they have had it real bad. Cars totally submerged, houses up to 6ft of water. There is one lad missing last seen coming out of a nightclub in a very flooded area feared drowned. :sad2: People are having to drink bottled water thats being handed out 2 large bottles per family if you queue up. We've never had weather like it and yet in Europe they are getting temps in the late 40's:scared1: - not sure which is worse.

Anyone else watching qvc today? xmas in July:banana:

Hiya

Sorry -my pc kicked me out shortly after and I only just saw your message. It says that i have good signal strength but it just stops working or doesnt work at all even when I first switch it on. Its totally intermitant and totally bl**dy annoying:mad:

Anyway, not sure I even got to Lindy in time - I only saw her message about 5pm on the last day so I sent her a pm but not sure she picked it up in time. Havent heard off her but with Elouise on hols she's probably busy. I shipped Ellis off to his Grandma's today and got some shopping done and my hair cut and cleaned the windows AGAIN:sad2:

OK, I have a question for any of you who smoke... do your windows ever come clean???? I have cleaned the windows on the inside now 5 times, going over each window twice each time so in effect its 10 times and they are still smearing with muck. It was deep brown in colour to start with - I was gagging cleaning them:scared: , but now its clear but still "smeary":confused3 I have tied all sorts but nothing is getting them clean. Maybe I should keep the curtains closed so I dont see the smears:thumbsup2

Sorry! - you asked about cameras and end up getting a lecture on dirty windows:rotfl2: - my mind runs off course ever so slightly sometimes:lmao: :lmao:

Gotta go put the munchkin to bed - byeeeee

For windows you can use straight vinegar and wipe clean with coffee filters.

Rob's suit Cass i have to ask coz i know everyone else is dieing to know, has it been worn around the house..:rolleyes1 ...:rolleyes1 whenever floats your boat dear i say....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hahah, well Rob can barely sit in that thing, so I think what you are suggesting may be a tad difficult :rolleyes1

Yes, Cass. We bought ours at Target. It was about $8.00 and I thought it worked out just fine. Ours is an over the door hanger and the door shuts all the way too.

I'm not pretending. I spent the day on Monday with Tony in the hospital. We had a little scare with him, but hopefully further tests will calm us all down. We'll know more after Aug 20th.

Yes, we saw the same thing on our news last night and was hoping that all of our KKers were ok!

That is the coolest thing. I'd love to have stormtrooper armor!

If you go to the DIS meet, I am sure he would love to tell you ALL about it :rolleyes1
