The grass in the backgarden has grown into a jungle (well its a bit long) and the weeds are getting rather large too:rolleyes1 Would it be awful of me to leave it for the new people to do:rolleyes1 I just cant face it and dont have the time. I love the way Neil works both sat and sun on the weekend before the move - really helpful - not!:sad2:

Can you tell I'm efeling sorry for myself?:confused3

I know I know... if i stopped dissing I'd have toime to mow the lawn, but my heads pounding and my stomach is killing me and I feel lousy:sick: , so I'm not going to do it:rolleyes1

I have half packed boxes in nearly every room. I've run out of things that go together. I wish I could afford the packing service:rotfl: - its gotta be worth the extra £500.

I'm going to mow the lawn - I feel guilty:rolleyes:

I'm sure the throbbing noise of the mower will ease my headache:sad2:

Bye for now folks

Good morning Karen and Cinnamike!! Are you both gone now?

Diane - wow! - just noticed your weight loss on the yahoo site! -

You too Nancy -you're doing fab:thumbsup2 it must have been all that pole dancing you did the other weekend;)

Great job Diane!! So far you've done the best of all of us. Feels great doesn't it?

Thanks Karen.

Wow, I can only imagine!! Sounds like fun!! I keep saying mom and mommy to Kira, she keeps saying the same thing over and over again: mmmmmbop!!! Reminds of that song by Hanson :upsidedow

Great new nickname for Cass..."mmmmmbop"!:lmao:

So, anyone made their t shirts yet?

Mine are in the hopper for today. I printed all the transfers out and have the shirts laundered. I have to buy one more shirt this morning and hopefully by tonight you'll see pics.

Is it ok for Chuck to join our Losers club on Yahoo although he has NEVER posted here? I'm so proud of him (and a bit jealous too). He's lost 14 pounds in one month!!

So where is Cheryl's list now? We have 4 months until the cruise and the only thing I have to do is the shirts (and lose more weight). I can easily check off everything now. Actually, if Chuck keeps losing we may have to buy new clothes for him before Oct.

Off to run errands. I'll check in later.:hippie:

Men do that! Ugh, it drives me crazy! He is most welcome, he is now officially a loser :lmao:

Good catch Nancy. We could also call her Hanson.

Cass, what do you want....mmbop or hanson?

Hmmm neither :rolleyes1

But if I had to choose the lesser of the evils....I go with mmmbop

Heather - thank you:thumbsup2 - got the magnetic paper off ebay :thumbsup2 - bought 2 packets of 5 sheets inc postage for £8.25:thumbsup2 I'm hoping that if I have 10 sheets I have 9 to ruin and 1 to get right:rotfl: Thats usually how it works. God help me when it comes to printing t shirts:rotfl2: I'm leaving that til nearer the time.

Karen - my paper arrived today. So I need to start thinking about designs.

I was going to make my door signs by just using the stuff I'd printed and bluetacking them on the door with normal paper, but now I have super dooper magnetic paper I'll have to do one on the pc and then print it:scared1: - any tips on how to start etc? Put it this way - I couldnt even follow the steps to get Disney font so dont get all technical on me:rolleyes1

Karen - this is the tip from Cass - "Hmmmm, for printer properties, use the highest (or best) quality that your computer has. If you can choose which kind of paper in your properties, choose glossy photo paper. Always print a test page first with regular paper (learned the hard way...many times  ) . When you print, only have the one sheet in your printer, don't just slip it in front of regular paper or try sticking two sheets together. Let it dry a few hours before touching it, it doesn't really need a few hours before touching, only a few mins but it's good to let it set longer!"

As for the fonts - open up the true type font page and leave it displayed, then open Word over the top of it. The font will be listed in the font list in Word. Keep the true type font page open until you have completely finished, otherwise the font will disappear.

Hope this helps Karen, Heather

Do I comment :confused3 or do I leave this one alone?

We certainly gave our mouths a workout:goodvibes - he's called today from work to ask if we're friends again - I told him he needs to grovel more first:rotfl:

Thanks Heather. I have no idea how to get disney type images onto a page though? All I had done til now was print a load of piccies off the door sign thread and was gonna cut them out and glue to a page - hardly top quality but best I could do. I might just have to steal someones - well I would if I knew how to steal it in the first place:lmao:

Cass - do you have anything I could steal? You seem to be our pc expert. When you've done yours could I "borrow" it pretty please and pass your masterpiece off as my own:rolleyes1 :flower3: :flower3:

I think I bought matt paper:sad2: - first error and it hasnt even arrived yet:rolleyes:

Oh -- I forgot to mention - I locked myself out of the house earlier:rolleyes: - just the icing on top of the cake for today really. I was taking breakables to moms til after the move - after about 5 trips - I forgot my keys werent on my belt.:sad2:

Luckily Dad had some ladders. I had to go up the gully(muddy area between the backs of the houses) , climb onto the garage roof, haul the ladders to the other side and climb down. Then break in through the kitchen window - I had to sit in the sink to get through:rolleyes1

Today just gets better and better. - I'm frightened to move incase something else happens. I figure if I watch tv or dis i cant do too much damage.:rolleyes1
