Me too Lori - I like my creature comforts. We did buy a tent, pitched it in the garden to see how to do it, put it back into its bag and its never been out since

We bought the airbeds and everything, - just never been brave enough to use them - the thought of bugs crawling on me - ewk!

Hello - what have we missed?????

Arrived back yesterday after a long flight. Had a fab time. Just need to write up the trip report and upload some photos.

Haven't yet been onto Yahoo...but I see that there is a new lot of logos for the bottom of our posts. You have all been busy.

Not much more news on the child yet - it was a child from Nursery - age 3-4 years. His mum picked him up but there was a lot of blood from his face

You'll let us know when you find out something??

On a totally different topic - I emailed my sister yet again today asking to answer me this time cos I was getting worried about her and this was my 6th or so email....and she answered! - She says she didnt get any of my emails - my server has been playing up a bit and some of my mail didnt get through but I dont think they'd have all gone missing, but anyway, she answered me this time. She's not doing too good, no details just not too good. Still has a bit more treatment to go but no news on whether she found a match on the register - I did ask her but she didnt answer that bit.
I just thought you'd like an update as you've all been so kind and thoughtful about her.

Thanks for the update Karen. What is your sister's first name? I have two
"Karen's sisters" that I'm keeping in my prayers and I don't want the Big Guy upstairs to be confused.

Another totally different topic - my cruise pack arived today - bedtime reading - makes it more exciting

I picked up all of ours this morning too. I'll be reading through it after I make Kristin's B-day cake. Oooooh, Angel Food Cake with fresh strawberries and Cool Whip.

I just booked a 6:10pm ADR for Cindy's Gala Feast at the Grand Floridian on October 17th so that hopefully you get your Wishes cruise for that night, we will be nice and close to meet up with you guys prior to your cruise

Is that still a go...a l'il mini-meet before your cruise so we can meet Brenda & Jason???

The Wishes Cruise has been scuttled, Cass. Right now Jay and I don't have plans for the evening...mainly because I'm holding out for dinner at Bistro Paris or hoping that there is a fabulous F&W Festival dinner that night.

I dearly would love a mini-meet that week... I just didn't want to be too pushy about it seeing as Jay and I are the ones that had to back out of this cruise.

The good news is that all the work was completed at the house this week with little additional fuss.

Oh no! No Wishes cruise for you two??? That was the one night that our schedule was fairly open so that we could meet up. Well the 18th is sorta open in the late afternoon too. Hopefully we can get a little thing going for those of us on the cruise who wanna catch up with you two!

I can help you with the first question...It started in 1996, but it was very different back then. When I found it in early 1997, it was only ONE page, it was a big thread index (you will see that on some boards where you see posts in text form and each reply shifts a little to the right) but there were no user names or post counts. The usernames started in August 1999 and the post counts started at the same time but were then reset about a year later, not completely set to zero but I think I was at about 120 and went down to about 40 something. Some people were upset cus they had thousands of posts and then back to 100 or whatever.
