Would everyone like to try and get a group photo of the Konkers at some point onboard? Maybe we could organise it for after the dinners and shows on formal night? Just a thought. Maybe we could all meet up for a drink afterwards and get us all in one big photo

We used to do a group shot on the American tours we went on. We have some amazing photos - on the grass outside the whitehouse, on the steps of some government building, etc. It would be a great memory and keepsake.

Is anyone else interested or am I being crazy?

I think this is a great idea as well!! Cass, I hope Baby Kira is better in the morning.......did your doc advise you to give her tylenol for the next 24 hrs? Maybe she's not old enough yet, eh? In any case, dust stuff to y'all both!

I did think of pirate night but wasnt sure if we'd miss the fireworks /show etc trying to get everyone organised, or whether it would be too busy with the crowds.

Its our first cruise so you all know better than me - I'm happy to fall in with any time. I think evenings are best after late dinner and the 2nd show. Evryone should be free by then?

We can get a list together of who would like to be in the photo and go from there.

Thanks Paige. I have been giving her Tylenol all day...she's now at her max dose. I just checked her and her temp is down a little and she feels better. She was a little better at 10pm when we gave her a lukewarm bath, she was even able to sleep for awhile finally! Hopefully by morning she will be much better cus I don't know how much more I could take seeing her in pain like that! I was even crying before! It's 2 am now so once she falls back to sleep I will go to bed too! Enjoy your book! I saw Paula on Oprah, she was quite hilarious!

So for those of you who are watching the clock, yes it is 5:00 am in Wisconsin, yes, I've been up since 3:15 (AGAIN!!) and yes, I'm all caught up with the pages I missed from last night.

You could walk to both of those sites you are considering. Not sure exactly how far it is, but I think if you go right down Duvall street and hang a right, you'd be at Southern Most Point. I believe the Lighthouse is on the way. Check out a map. Maybe someone else on the thread knows the exact distance.

I already hit my quote button and I realize this has already been answered, but yes, I believe it is only 1 mile to the SMP from the ship. Our clan is hoofing it.

On our first cruise we all just posed together during the first DISmeet and had a CM take our picture. It was kind of funny to see all those cameras lined up on top of a bar. We had Pikey (Magics favorite CM) pose in the pictures with us. What a ham!!

Here's a great idea I got from the DISboard during my first cruise. Print out luggage tags on bright green paper (DISboard color) that read like this:

Jane Smith
123 Main Street
Anytown State, zipcode
Cell Phone #
Home Phone # (but don't give your's because you won't be there. We gave my brothers phone number)

Sailing on the Disney Magic
Oct 20th-Oct 27th
Cabin # _______

This way IF your luggage gets lost, it will be easier to locate you. I put one tag on the outside of my luggage and one tag inside the front pocket.


So for all you smart alecks out there, (you know who you are ) of course you would subsitute my sample with your own info.

Cass is keeping count for us there. We are at 137 days!

To think, Chris can book Palo and excursions in 32 days. 47 for most of us and 62 for the rest. It's coming on quickly. And my busy time is July and August.

Jeff the only thing that interests me is HOW BIG ARE THE PIZZA'S from Palo and can i get one made to order?....Both Hazel and Jess are under no illusions either the fat fellas jet's pizza or he ain't going to Palo as my idea of fancy food is having gravy on my fries.....i know,i know you can take the boy out of Yorkshire but you can't take Yorkshire out of the boy......

PS...Me and the twins will be dossed on the bed,me in my boxer's kids in their Pj's watching TV (hopefully eating even more tuna pizza ) while mum and Jess stuff their faces,what more can a man want?.....

This is all very helpfull thank you. I don't have a lot of say for most of the stuff at Key West. DH is a big history buff, and loves lighthouses. So he has asked for the light house and any history. (by the way history bores me). My mother wants a pic of all of us at the SMP. I am all about eating and shopping. I will check out all of the links. Thanks again

Don't remember exactly how big the pizzas are in Palo, but I want to say at least the size of a dinner plate. I don't think you'd have a problem getting it made with the ingredients you want. And you can always ask for a second or third.

There is a lot of other great food there. And for all of you who think you won't get full because it is a fancy dining room, think again. The wait staff really pushes the food on you. You need to save room for dessert. Suz and I are so full after eating there.

Look at the bright side Nancy, today is Friday and we have a 3 day weekend coming up. My company starts summer hours today, so we are closed at 1:00 today.

I may be bugging out at noon because Suz is also off at noon. DS isn't out of school until 3:30, so we might go to POTC3 in MF at 12:30.

I'ts on our list for this weekend too. We also want to see Shrek 3. Looks like a weekend at the movies if we have cra*py weather as usual for Wisconsin on Memorial Day weekend. (Hopefully I can avoid too much of that smilie)

Are any of you Konked Kruisers planning on booking another cruise onboard? If so, when and whereto??

I'm afraid that won't happen for us this time around. Our house needs a new roof, new gutters, siding, new windows....blah blah blah. Plus momma needs a new car soon. So unless we win the lottery, another DCL cruise won't happen for us.

BTW, I did win $29.00 on a scratch off ticket this week. Not quite enough to help my dear friend make this trip with us.
