Cass, here's a hint on the cereal thing. Keep the spoon in her mouth for a few seconds. She needs to learn to use her tongue. Her reflex will be to push the spoon out of her mouth, but after a day or two, she'll teach herself how to use it. I use to actually push up on the chin to close the mouth so they could learn to do it. Put very little on the spoon so she doesn't gag. Gosh, I miss those days. (I knew those Child Development classes would come in handy one day.)
