Political Correctness is crazy over here. I'm not even going to go down that road here.

You do remember that Port Orleans Riverside had a different name back in the 90's, correct? Suz and I still call it Dixielandings. Just wanted to point out at least 1 that involved Disney.

We stayed at Dixie Landings once and loved it - why was the name changed to Port Orleans - I am Canadian so maybe I just dont know the American History but I dont see what is wrong with Dixie Landings.

(sorry this point was made so long ago - I have been skimming the postings from the beginning - almost caught up!)

Derek is only 11?....what are you feeding him on?....When i was reading the posts last night Rosie happened to be at the side of me and saw his picture "who's that"....Nobody of any interest to you darling:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

ps...Paige dear how is Derek at swimming:rolleyes1 :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I can see that the "father-daughter" relationship is just as strong with UKers as it is here with the Americans, probably with the Canadians, too, after seeing pics of Rob and Baby Kira.:rotfl: We always say that when boys come calling for Emily, my Rob will pick that time to get "cammied up" and clean weapons.:rotfl2: I can just see it...."What's your name, boy? Who's your daddy?":rotfl: :rotfl:

My guess is that "Dixie" makes people think of antebellum times in the South. In some ways, it was the South's grand time, but in one very important way, it was the South's darkest time--slavery.

Elizabeth--beautiful blouse. As for the chaos of planning a wedding, here's my take on that. It's fine if it's hectic now so that on your special day, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the moment. I know, I know, easier said than done. Dust stuff to ya.........:wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

:rotfl: That is the best....I think Chris has a suite, so that he never has to let Rosie out of the room. My DS is showing interest in girls, I'm not real comfortable w/that, and DH is better w/it, but I remind him, will he be so understanding when his princess DD who is going on 8 gets to that age:laughing:

Hey Jeff, now that I'm at work without dial-up, can you please repost the link to the Magic leaving Florida again?

BTW, anyone read the post about the two new DCL ships? Someone posted that they are staying in Florida, the Magic will stay in CA, and the Wonder will be a floater ship. What is a "floater" ship? Anyone know?

Nancy, here you go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IfG1gzg_9I

As for a "floater" ship, just think of the other ones as "sinker" ships. :scared1: :lmao:

No, a "floater" will be one they move around to different locations (i.e. the Med, Asia, anywhere else). It just won't have one home.

I hope that if they are going to station one in CA, they purchase an island out there. Need to have a compliment to Castaway.

Also, hope their models are correct and that they don't see a decline in LA departures. Yes, they do good when they come every 3 years, but all the time? LA to Puerto Vallarta isn't too warm in the middle of winter if a cold front comes down. Highs in PV sometimes only reach the upper 50's.

Liz glad you popped in!:thumbsup2

Great to "see" you too.

try not to stress, easier said than done ! i know i know!

lots of pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: to you.

Rememeber WHY you are getting married and try and not get tooo over wrought with the plans. My first weeding ( at 18, I was in love with the odea of being in love ) when I met wayne at 30, i knew I was marrying the man I loved, and I couldnt have cared where or when we got married, so long as we did ! :love:

It's official! Wedding planning has overtaken my life! ;)

It's all I've done the last few days. I'm really starting to go insane. I need to catch up with here too, SO many pages behind!

The good news is I think I finally may have chosen my outfit for our engagement session next week:

Yeah I'm not exactly looking my best right here lol. But hopefully that will all change very soon! :)

Have I mentioned that I still wish the weekly or daily subscription e-mails would work? I think if I change it to notify every time I may drown in e-mails! :laughing: But at least I'd be caught up :)

Thinking about all you guys and hoping all is well with everyone! I promise I'm more friendly and gabby in real life :)

At time it can be alot of work, seems like everything needs to be done all at once. But then the day comes and so quickly. Everything will be beautiful and you know that all of your hard work has paid off. It's all worth it:goodvibes

i feel your pain. the indians blew one like that sunday against oakland.
at least the cavs won last night. i would just like to have one sports team from cleveland win a championship just once in my life. but im 50 and im running out of time. maybe my kids will see it someday.

Wow, I thought the Indians or Cavs won something at sometime. Hmmm.

That's o.k., we don't get championships here that often either.

Packers, champs in 67, 68 and 96.

Brewers/Braves, champs in 57, lost WS in 58, lost WS in 82.

Bucks, champs sometime in the 70's.

So is that what you called the first marriage, a "weeding"? You were just "weeding" out the men. :lmao:

Actual Tea or Dinner? Isn't it only 3:30 there?

Jeff - you are obsessed with what us Brits eat for dinner / tea:lmao:

Lindy Loo might just be preparing it ready to cook later, or she may have been having a late lunch.

Some brits say breakfast, dinner and tea, some say breakfast lunch and tea, some say breakfast lunch and dinner. Clear as mud eh!:confused3

Wow, after that a$$ whooping, I'll just crawl under my desk now.

Remind me not to ask you what you will be ordering when we're at DINNER on the Magic in October. :lmao:

Wow, we're up to 37 wristbands already and I haven't heard from A LOT of you.

If you are interested in one of those silicon/rubber wristbands, please PM me, putting "Bracelet" in the subject, and let me know what you'd be interested in.

This is not a committment, just letting me know you are interested so I can research further.

Again, if we go with ReminderBands (which we probably will since they offer more sizes), the sizes are:

Lg = 8 3/8" (21.3 cm)
Md = 7 3/8" (18.7 cm)
Yth = 5 7/8" (14.9 cm)

We will use the bands to identify us to each other in the terminal and on the cruise. We did this on one of my other cruises and it went over well.

The cost should be below $2.50 per band (includes shipping to me) plus postage from me to you. But this will be figured out before any hard committments are required of you.
