Just been taking the stereo and speakers off the wall and into boxes.

The valuer is coming round tomorrow - at last! Ours was done last week

Gotta go and clean the bathroom tiling (floor to ceiling ))and kitchen tiling

hey im not responsible for chuck. i sent him home long ago when he ran out of ones. i think ill have some cinnamon toast when robin goes to work tomorrow.

Anyone watch the Brewers-Phillies game tonight?

I was one of those "old time" games. Not the uniforms or anything like that, just the Brewers stinking up the place like they had all through the 90's.

Blew a 6-2 lead in the 8th, giving up 6, and losing 8-6. Pathetic. Good teams shouldn't be blowing 4 run leads. This is the first time they lost 2 in a row since right at the begining of the season.

Sorry, just a little p!ssed from watching them blow it.

I just heard on the TV that a town about 40 minutes away had quite a bit of wind damage, trees down, power lines down, quite a few people w/out power.
Glad it's not me.
i'm alittle gun shy w/storms...last summer during a huge storm, my new (2yrs) house, that we built, started on fire. Lightning struck a tree, travelled through the root line, met up w/gas line that came into my house and followed that gas line in. Not a lose, but alot of structural and smoke damage. Storms are not my friend.

So sorry to hear that Janice. We had bad luck twice now with storms in the past. But like you, not a lot of structural damage, just personal items, water heaters, furnaces...stuff easily replaced.

My DH wanted me to let everyone know that the PHX SUNS just won their game

YEAH!!! Great game Carrie (and Scott). I watched the whole game, therefore, no time to DIS last night. Although we live in WI, we are all huge Suns fans. Weird, I know.

No cyber love note this morning

Good morning my little schnoogums.

We had a BAD day

Before Kira and I got out of bed this morning, Rob had lost a $200,000 order.
Then we found out that we lost that house, they got a good offer on it this morning.

Rob was gone for the evening for business and I was very upset so I took Kira for a walk, by the time I got home I was in tears. (I'm normally not a crier but I really really LOVED this house! ) Then I grabbed Kira and we went out in the back to let our dogs, Lilo & Stitch out. They started wrestling each other like always and Kira was watching them....

and she LAUGHED!

For the very first time...she laughed!!!! My tears of sorrow turned to tears of joy.

It's amazing what a laugh can do

Oh Cass, what a bummer. (Bummer probably means something totally different in the UK ). Maybe you'll find something much nicer now. How nice that your little sweetheart can bring up your mood without even knowing it. A child's laughter is addicitive (even more than the DIS).

With all you chatting away trying to beat the threads in front, there is no way I will be able to catch up when I get back.

Can someone please PM me if there is anything important I need to know for October.

That's a deal Heather. I was thinking of making that same request and I'll only miss a day on the DIS. It took me 45 minutes to catch up this morning.
If I forget, have a wonderful cruise. Take lots of pictures and share them with us when you get back.

great story about kira. kids will always lift your spirits. our grandaughter said mom for the first time saturday. perfect timing as mothers day was sunday. now if we can get her to say dad by fathers day in june..

i feel your pain. the indians blew one like that sunday against oakland.
at least the cavs won last night. i would just like to have one sports team from cleveland win a championship just once in my life. but im 50 and im running out of time. maybe my kids will see it someday.

BTW, anyone read the post about the two new DCL ships? Someone posted that they are staying in Florida, the Magic will stay in CA, and the Wonder will be a floater ship. What is a "floater" ship? Anyone know?

much warmer today. high of 80. heading out to golf. they have a tues special. $4 for 9 holes and i am cheap so im going to take advantage of it. couldnt get anyone to go with me so ill go it alone. pathetic huh?

It's official! Wedding planning has overtaken my life!

It's all I've done the last few days. I'm really starting to go insane. I need to catch up with here too, SO many pages behind!

The good news is I think I finally may have chosen my outfit for our engagement session next week:

Yeah I'm not exactly looking my best right here lol. But hopefully that will all change very soon!

Have I mentioned that I still wish the weekly or daily subscription e-mails would work? I think if I change it to notify every time I may drown in e-mails! But at least I'd be caught up
