DIS is like crack isn't it. :lmao:

You only have 62 posts and you are already addicted?

(for the record I have never done crack or any other drugs, although vicadin (sp?) or oxicodone after a surgery is wonderful. :rotfl: )

Sad, I know........:surfweb:

I just heard on the TV that a town about 40 minutes away had quite a bit of wind damage, trees down, power lines down, quite a few people w/out power.
Glad it's not me.
i'm alittle gun shy w/storms...last summer during a huge storm, my new (2yrs) house, that we built, started on fire. Lightning struck a tree, travelled through the root line, met up w/gas line that came into my house and followed that gas line in. Not a lose, but alot of structural and smoke damage. Storms are not my friend.:scared1:

Went last Sunday to watch them beat the Pirates. It was Spring Madness so all seats $24 and less were 1/2 price and hot dogs and sodas were $1.

I have tickets to the Mets game on Memorial Day (sitting right below the press boxes) and then tickets to the Astros game on June 25th. DW had a deal on tickets through work.

I will pick up a few more games if they continue as they are now. But once football season starts, its Packers and Badgers all the way.

I like to go to the games, not a big watcher on TV. I LOVE to watch football, though and of course Soccer.

Hey, I know...let's get Carrie a few drinks and then she can lead the meet :thumbsup2 :lmao:

Hmmm, I don't like straight tequila either...but I love margaritas  Never had a martini before :upsidedow
Hey now wait a minute. I said lets not put me in charge. My problem is traveling with my parents. I need to drink just because of spending so much time with them, but they don't drink and look down on me for drinking. If my parents were not traveling with us I would say not a problem with drinking and then leading the group but in this case I will have to pass.

As for martini's I love them, my faves are apple, lemon, and chocolate.

I have to say a chocolate martini is good, but haven't had apple or lemon. I don't do martini much, don't care for gin.

I would love to do the Galley tour with Elouise (5yrs) How do you book this please? Maybe the kids will want to join us up ?

I have not done one with DIS but on the other lines all we have had to do is find it in the navigater and then show up at that place and time. We normally show up about 15 minutes early just to be able to guarentee a spot.

Hi Carrie, The tours they have of the rainforest are just a little peak inside the room. When I said "touring" I meant I'll be spending my "at sea" days in the Rainforest instead of the sun.

Thank you for clearing that up. I have never been in the rainforest before but I have been reading about it and it sound great.

That's why you need to DIS at work. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

I am trying to catch up on what I missed today. I wish I could at work but I don't even get computer time at work, let alone the computers we do have do not have internet on them. I knew there was a disadvatage to my job.

MinnMick's DH, Grand Prairie huh? Did you ever live up here? Which company do you work for? Hubby was wondering.

No he never lived up there. He would like to visit sometime but that is about it. He works for On Semiconductor, similar to Motorola.

Do you want another startling fact about our thread, we are currently posting as fast as the once all mighty Aug '08 Repo thread is right now.

We both have done about 1,000 posts since May 7th and they have many more people on their thread.

WE ROCK!!!

I can believe that, I was busy and didn't keep up over the weekend and it took me forever to read last night.

I just did a quick look/calculation and we are about 12 hours ahead of them in posting for the last 1,000.

Their starting point (now - 1,000) was on 5/7/07 at 11:20 p.m.

Our starting point was on 5/8/07 at 11:10 a.m.

Yah sure you haven't. :rotfl:
I will agree that this is so habit forming. I could not wait to get on and catch up tonight. It is just taking me forever to do it. :surfweb:

I am not a storm fan at all but your story just made me hate them even more. The storm I remember was easter years ago when lightening hit a tree in the backyard next to us. The tree branch fell on fire onto the wire that went to our houes and the neighbors house. The fireball traveled up the wires but at that point my dad put it out with the hose. I have not liked storms since. Oh yah there was another time the lightening hit an antenia (sp) at our cabin and since it was not grounded all the wiring in the cabin was burnt and not working when we got up there. All the eletrical switches were black.
