Hey Jeff, I thought I was doing a better job keeping up with them. I watch Sportscenter when I can. I did see the high/lowlights from the no-hitter and thought of you yelling "just 1 hit, please" My son keeps me up to date on the top hitters for them. With the work schedule I miss a few days of sports each week. Hope they keep up the good play and hit a couple of hot streaks along the way.:cool1:

What was worse than the no-hitter was Cordero blowing a 3-0 lead in the 9th down in Texas. I watched that one live. I was screaming at the T.V.!!!

We'd be going Thursday night through Monday afternoon. If we go, we may have to go to MK for extra magic hours then on Sunday night. If it is that dead, we'd be able to get on the rides.

We were thinking of doing Donald Breakfast at AK that morning so we were in the park before 9 and closer to Everest than the normal people when the park opened. It was closed last time due to mechanical problems (never did open that time). If it is dead, we might be able to use the sit down option elsewhere and just go at the normal time that morning.

We have never done that breakfast before. Missy says it was good.
Everest however we have done. It was fun!!! But I love all coasters!!!!
Are you guys doing the dining plan?

Cardinal fan chiming in...

the Central Division is sooo bad... we in St. Louis still think that we have a chance to make the playoffs come October. As long as we stay within 6 or 7 games of first by the All-Star game, it's a distinct possibility.

Not that I'm under any illusions - we totally suck - but so does just about everyone else in the division. :lmao:

I give props to the Brewers - they're playing pretty good baseball these days. But I'm with Jeff - seen them fade too many times in the last tew years after the All-Star break.

Good luck Karen!! :goodvibes

Except for winning last weekend's series against the Twins, we haven't beat a team with a winning record (maybe early in the season, but not lately). And the Twins were still worse than the Brewers.

Everyone else in the Central has a losing record. Slightly over .500 will win that division. Sad. :sad2:

Karen, lets skip over all the baseball talk and talk about your new house. Are you planning on painting all the rooms or are they the way you want them? Do you like color? I love color!! I have a red half bath off the family room. The girls bathroom is bright pink.

No! - not at all!

Chris kept getting the first post on the page - A "fresh page".

Youre not fresh are you:eek: :rolleyes1

I know what you were referring to.

But I can be fresh if you want. :rotfl:

Remember, I'm going to dinner 5 of the nights without clothes. :rotfl2:

Sat 21st July 5am doors open !!! i have a 3am start that day! :cool1:

I didnt discuss it in the playground there was no need to, as other children were telling their parents as they got collected. Other parents are concerned too about their childrens safety, they have asked me how i am etc, and I have replied "fine thanks" and not too much more. I THINK the confidentitaaly issue ( I cant spell im so mad!) mudt be cos I am a parent helper..... It wouldnt be right to talk about anyones kids in the playground, but its not against any laws, however if i said something I was priviledged to, as a helper in school, that ould be very wrong. I know i havnet done anything, to my knowledge, and I have asked the teacher I support, and she is 100% behind me and is happy to state I havent done anything to her knowledge. I even have thank you cards and notes from 3 teachers ( including the old bag who signed the letter!) We are GUESSINg the father of the boy ( who is a governor ) has said something to try and prevent his son getting in trouble, but that is only a guess. No one will actually talk to me about the letter ! Which is driving me nuts! I am guessig now I have "raised the game" the school may b seeking advice, as to how to sort this out? I guess teachers unions etc would advice them. Maybe she is regretting sending the letter, maybe she is in trouble with her bosses over the letter? Who knows.

Thank you my friend....:grouphug:

Linda Excellent news!:)

You've done nothing wrong and they know it.

It's wonderful how many at the school are ready to support you.
The person who wrote that letter should be reprimanded, suspended, demoted?.....any or all of the above!

Hang in there!

Are you guys doing the dining plan?

If we go, yes, it would be on the dining plan.

The cost of the room is only $29 more than the AAA rate, so I figure for a sit-down, counter and snack for each of us per night, the $29 upcharge on the room would be worth it.

Plus, since we are out of park tickets, we'll just opted for the 10-day, park-hopper, w/ waterparks, no-expiration. We'd use one day on that Sunday. Friday night would be the Pirate and Princess Party. Get in by 4:00-4:30 and stay til midnight with a capacity controlled crowd will be worth the $40 per ticket.

Granted the 10-day tickets are more with Disney than from some of the online brokers, but still, the total difference in the weekend would be around $150, which is what we figured we'd spend in food anyways using only counter service. Now we get sit down.

We still have 2 waterpark days left on our old tickets, so we wouldn't even touch those on the new ones.

Also, the package includes one round of mini-golf. I figured I'd pay for Suz' and DS's round and we could do that when we get up on Friday if we didn't go to Typhoon. The flight will land after 10 p.m. (9:00 p.m. our time) so I don't know how DS would be in the morning.

Most of the rooms are very neutral at the moment. They are fine for the time being. Our dining room at our current house is partly a dark aubergine colour with an off white on the other walls. Our lounge is a dark coffee and Ellis' room is bright royal blue and white (Birmingham city football colourscolours) so yes, I like colour!

Not at my table you're not!:scared1: :scared1: - you might put me off my filet mignon and cheesecake:scared1: :scared1: :lmao:

DH here, Hi Lori, how are the swim lessons going?

I couldn't Julia in for 2 more weeks. I hope she does well. She is just so scared. She will be fine in the Mickey Pool because it is shallow, but will freak out in the goofy pool. She will be the cute little girl trying to choke her mother in the pool. Please come in and try to save me!!!:lmao:

We have done both mini-golf courses. We like the Winter-Summer themed on the best. We did the winter side. The kids loved it.

A faint faint glimmer of hope on the house move horizon:banana:

We now have a fax of the original mortgage offer document, so at least the solicitor can get to work, and the other issue re the house deeds is being sorted by friday:banana:

I might be moving next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yay: :yay: :yay:

Please throw a few Positive thoughts my way:goodvibes

Its going to be extremely difficult to type for the next couple of days cos I have every finger crossed:rotfl:

If I disapear for a few days it means my pc is in a big box waiting for connection in my new house:yay: I can log in from my gym to catch up every now and then, but I'll be busy unpacking boxes, so you'll have to keep me up to date with anything I miss.

Here it is: our new little house. Its teeny weeny compaerd to your big US mansions, but we're happy!

Great news Karen!

Love the house! It doesn't look small to me, could be bigger than my home even.

Best of luck for the move:thumbsup2

DITTO!!!! Baseball bores me to tears. I'm more of a basketball fan.

Suz' HATES baseball. She will, however, suffer through DS's game tonight.

She is more of a Football (American), Basketball, Hockey person. It needs to be fast paced.

Sorry to my UK friends, but I can not get into Soccer. To much running around with too little scoring. Now indoor soccer is a different story.

Julias about 4? We got Ellis in armbands and rubber ring to start with and so his feet could touch the floor, then just moved him a tiny bit out of his depth, so he realized he could float. Then off came the rubber ring and the nwe let a bit of air out of each armband. The noodles are good too - not sure whta you call them in America - big long tube of foam?

He's now swimming 25 metres and jumping in the deep end of the pool and he's only 6 1/2. She'll get there:hug: Once she has her confidence there will be no stopping her. Ellis used to strangle me too! I remember one trip in Greece - we'd gone on an island cruise and we'd stopped by some crystal clear turquoise water - Neil said to get in the water with Ellis and he'd fetch the camera. Well, I got in and got Ellis in too, I had to tread water with Ellis nearly choking me to death in FREEZING ICY WATER! - Neil was absolutely ages getting the camera - he'd stopped to chat to someone on the way back! - I was absolutely exhausted by the time he finally got back. I think my words were something like "Put the god damn camera down and come and save me before your family drowns!"
