HELLO ALL!!!!!

The second half of the "Virginia Duo" has returned and oh how I have missed each and everyone of you!!!

Let me tell you my story........

Last Friday a.m. my DH called me at the office crying (yes, crying) in pain. He was trying to drive himself to the ER while in excrutiating pain and hanging his head out the window (if you know what I mean). Scared to death, I told him to pull over and call 911.....well, you know men, ......no way! So I told him to stay where he was and I would come for him......

I got him to the ER where they immediately put an I.V. in him and pumped him full of pain medication. They then took him for an abdominal ultrasound. Turns out he had gallstones, one of which he tried to pass. Unfortunately it had lodged itself in his bile duct causing inflammation and infection of his pancreas! Poor man. He was, of course admitted. Over the next several days he was given heavy doses of antibiotics and pain meds to try to improve the condition of his pancreas. After this was accomplished he was then taken to surgery where his gallbladder was removed! It was only just last night that I was able to bring him home. I don't know who was more relieved him, or me!!!

Anyway, to make a long story short.....I have been shuttling back and forth between home and hospital, trying to take care of our kids, myself and my husband, the best I could for the last several days........I'm glad we are finally on the road to recovery!!!!!! I'm exhausted!

I know that I have missed much.......I spent several hours last night and this a.m. trying to catch up........

There may be a work around. I notice my company buys enough clothes for giveaways that we are actually an authorized wholesaler. Crazy. Anyways the goods are at www.amtex.com which redirects to a new company called broder. I just checked and looks like there is a ton of Fruit of the Loom shirts and other brands as well, darn near every color imaginable and youth sizes too. The Tee's look to cost about $.90 - 3.00 depending on color and style. I could download a PDF of the catalog and pass it around.
If everyone puts an order together prolly take me a week to get it and if you send me a finished logo I can run it over to the printers for silk screening. I can't imagine them chargin me more than $25-50 for art fees and probably $1-3 per shirt for printing, there are not many colors to silk in the logo really.
Anyways I would be happy to front the order and ship the finished product to whomever is best capable to distribute it. Silk screening would last longer the the iron ons.

Let me know if I can help. Again I would be more than happy to scan the catalog and post it tonight if I cant find it on the site for download. They got a ton of stuff, looks like good prices too; even the heavier sports shirts and denims look about $4-6.

BIG NEWS IF ANYONE IS FLYING AIRTRAN

I just went on their site to check out flights for Labor Day weekend and they have an icon to see seat availability. This is new. You use to not be able to see it.

Then I see that they took away the "seats assigned at check-in" from the "deep discounted fares". Also, those are now called "more advance purchase".

Anyhow, I went to my reservation for October and you can now select seats. It cost $5 more per seat per flight, but you don't have to wait until 24 hours in advance. Furthermore, Exit Row is available for $15 per seat per flight. We can't do ER because we fly with DS, but it's nice to be able to book it.

So, if you want to get your Air Tran seats assigned, do it now. I'm sure this will be emailed over night. This wasn't there last night and I can't remember if I checked this morning.

Thats awesome - now you can see exactly how full the flight is if you are holding off booking to the last minute. As our Canadia $$ is so strong comparted to the US$ lately, I am trying to hold off booking to see if I can get a better exchange rate

(great pics from that day by the way) I also love the idea of a group picture....what a great keepsake....I'm there wherever, whenever.....

Carrie: I'm still praying for Mike's bosses son......and his mom. Hope is what helps us carry on.....I pray she continues to hold onto hers. As for you, my dear, don't let your mom and her situation ruin your excitement and enthusiasm for this trip! We are ALL going to have a blast.......you never know, by the time the cruise comes round, your mom might be dancing circles around you at Rockin Bar D!!!

Well I did it - I cant believe it. When we booked our cruise at the end of March, I got on the DIS Boards and started reading through all the different threads. After a week or so, I found this thread.

At that point there was around 300 pages of posts so I figured I would read from the beginning and within 3-4 weeks I would be caught up. I forgot that everyone would continue to add new pages! Over the last 2 months we have added almost 400 more pages!

I must admit I skimmed some pages, some had lots of pictures, and the pages when someone "got a page" were always really quick to review.....but in the end, I think I got most of the talk.

I have copied over 40 pages of "stuff" into a Word Document with tips. I am going to read through them over the weekend and will restate anything that I think needs to come back to the board.

I have got to say -that I absolutely love all of this stuff - the friendships are amazing, the help and support we all give each other is just wonderful. I get more excited about this trip everyday.

I better get back to work....talk again soon.

Actually you can't see how full the plane is because if people don't spend the $5 for a seat, it won't show up as taken. I think the front and back rows on all their flights show full. At least that is what I'm showing. So I wouldn't use for a capacity control feature.

Karen that's exactly what I did. While I was starting the laundry this morning a friend called and asked if I wanted to go with her to a few scrapbooking stores this morning so I said sure and I'll drive because I have a new car! So we went and ran some errands and went out to lunch. I absolutely love my new car!!!! The house is still a mess so Al and Rachel will know I didn't get done what I wanted to but they can clean it tonight while I'm at work
